"The cleanliness of the room was poor in my opinion. The bathroom walls were dirty with what appeared to be blood and stool. The area around the bathtub had viable water damage that lifted the wall making it look stained and in poor appearance. "

"Unfortunately, my stay at this property was quite disappointing. The room did not meet basic cleanliness expectations. There were visible long strands of hair (including what appeared to be blonde human hair and dog hair), which made the space feel poorly maintained. Noise was also a significant issue. Other guests were inconsiderate late into the night, and there was no effective way to address it. I attempted to contact the front desk, but it appears it is not staffed 24 hours, and calls...

"We loved our stay at Fern River Resort. Tucked beneath the trees, it felt peaceful and fully immersed in nature. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and warm, we lit the fireplace in the evening and unwound after a beautiful train ride through the redwoods. "Such a lovely spot to sit out side, watch and hear the ocean. Very lush, surrounded by beautiful trees. They had a room they were helping the monarch butterflies along. It was beautiful to see and hold the butterflies. Nice fridge with proper freezer. We had a towel warmer in the bathroom . Very peaceful and serene just what I wanted! We will return "

"Hotel was conveniently located. The entire hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast was simple, but had every thing we needed. Coffee and tea was available 24/7, we loved that. My only suggestion would be that they change sheets every other day."
