"The villa is beautiful, lovely inside and out. Very spacious and it really has everything inside you could need. The pool area is very large and the pool is large and beautiful, our only issue was the lack of workable umbrella stands as there is no shade around the pool until about 4pm. We didnt find too much to do local to the villa, there is a nice restaurant (La Taberna) in rucalmuto but we drove to San Leone, which had an array of resturants and beautiful beaches and just 20 mins drive...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa. It was a great location, close to the lovely community of Caltavuturo. The host provided very useful recommendations about the property, dining, shopping and other activities. The shops in town were great, including the butcher, the bakery and the pasticceria, not to mention the chef and team at AlterEgo restaurant. The villa was well appointed, it offered a number of areas within and outside the property to relax and enjoy the views and experience....

"Francesco and Stephanie were extremely nice and very helpful. Their English is good and they respond to texts and emails promptly. The directions to get to the property were very good and it was easy to find - Francesco was waiting for us on the corner! The property is an old Sicilian farmhouse which has been in the family for 5 generations. It is on 2 levels with original floor tiles on the upstairs landing.
