"This is an older property that is spotless. You are out of town, but that gavea beautiful country peacefulness. The hosts had an amazing array of toiletries, condiments, spices and snacks we were covered for anything we might have forgotten. The only issue (for some)would be the steps into the home, and to the pool. There are more than we thought and a handrail would have helped ou group as we aew older. That said we would happily stay again."

"Beautiful home in Galesburg. We enjoyed our stay for the 3 nights and felt the comfort of home. It was a 5 minute drive to Carl Sandburg College. We also enjoyed checking out Judy’s Cafe. "

"This site is still under construction but promises to be a nice getaway. I was the only cabin in use. The huge windows provided a great view of the lake and the daily gathering of Canadian geese. Perfect place for dogs with clean tile floors - easy to clean and don’t hold smells from previous pets. Comfortable bed, great TV, tight quarters with limited furniture/seating (no place to set suitcase), beautiful bathroom, basic kitchen tools (no serving bowls or mixing dish) and coffee provided....

"Cabins were as advertised including the tranquil settingWe came prepared with an air mattress just in case we couldn’t make the stairs but discover the sofa was a hide-a-bed tooWe were successful using the loft during our stay but it was good to know about the hide-a-bed for future reference Thanks for our relaxing stay!"
