BEAUTIFULLY REMODELED RECENTLY. This ONE OF A KIND waterfront beach house is perfect for couples and small families with a desire to spend time on one of the best beaches that Southern California has to offer - Faria Beach - with Mondo's Beach which is famous for our surfing. A winning combination of location, quality and price.

Our Beach House is on the sand is known by locals as the new Malibu, but without the traffic, pollution or crowds! Enjoy the 2 mile sandy beach which is rare for the area, as many of our beaches are rocky and offer very little sand. We are also centrally located 65 miles north of Los Angeles, 20 minutes south of Santa Barbara, 15 minutes from Montecito, 20 minutes from Ojai, and 10 minutes from Ventura and Carpinteria. This location is ideal for enjoying the best that each of these world famous destinations has to offer.

In addition to location, our home is not a typical "cottage" beach house. It's a high quality constructed beach house decorated with an eye for detail and beach life. A two story beach house offers amazing ocean view.

The large master suite is an experience in and of itself as it has magnificent views of the ocean which can be enjoyed in our luxurious king size bed, along side a roaring romantic fireplace or on the seaside balcony. The master bath offers a large walk in shower for two and 2 sinks/vanities.

The second bedroom offers a queen bed with accompanying full bathroom. The first floor offers an open floor plan with kitchen and dining table and chairs that flow into the cozy living room.

The living room has a fireplace, high definition 42” TV with doors that open onto the large ocean front patio. There are windows that traverse from the kitchen to the living room providing wonderful ocean views and the symphony of waves. On this floor there is a full bath. On this floor is also a washer and dryer.

The large ocean side deck has a Jacuzzi, table and chairs and two chaise lounges, with stairs that lead down from the seawall to the ocean/sand. Please see a picture of the stairs on the website. The drop from the top of the seawall to the sand ranges 10 to 15 feet. During high tide, and depending on the season, the water can splash against the seawall, which can make entry into the ocean from the stairs impossible. However, Mondo’s beach is several hundred yards to the north and it is sandy and accessible all year around.

The home also offers a garage and driveway parking with easy access to Hwy 101 Santa Barbara, Ojai, Carpinteria,, Ventura or Los Angeles. The Beach House also has a roof top deck with stunning views.

Toast to the romance of the best of Southern California beach living on the large ocean patio with Jacuzzi, chaise lounges, table and chairs and gas grill. Complimentary champagne is awaiting your arrival. You will not find a comparable vacation rental for the price, especially on the sand!

Amazing property!

Wonderful visit with the family. House is well equipped and an amazing location. As others described, tide affects whether you can access the sand / ocean, but it is an easy walk to Mondos Beach on the road all day.

We had a wonderful time

The location couldn't have been better. The home is beautiful especially the views, both from the deck and from the master bedroom. Access to the beach is very convenient and the surfing area is great for beginners and those more experienced. The only recommendation I would make is to replace the umbrella stands. The screws to hold them are all rusted and not functional at all. We had a fairly strong gust and the umbrella blew out of the stand into us, which could have been dangerous, but we grabbed it and there was no problem. All is all , we did have a wonderful family gathering to celebrate our 50th anniversary in a beautiful location, especially for an old surfer from the 60's and my wife who was raised in imperial beach. We now live in the mountains of Prescott, AZ, but we are still drawn to the beach at least a couple of times a year and this home was a great choice.

So Disappointing

There were rodent traps in the kitchen when we arrived. During the night, a rodent got into out groceries and ate several items. When we woke up, there was fecal matter on the counter and in other places. We packed up and left the house.

The quintessential beach cottage

Our stay at the beach cottage was absolutely exquisite with a minor hiccup at the beginning of our stay. When we checked in, the cottage had not been cleaned up after the last guests, damp towels and linens on the floor, beds unmade and trash left in the wastebaskets. We called housekeeping, and they responded quickly. A team arrived within 30 minutes and throughly cleaned the house. Therefore a 4 for cleanliness was given. The rest of our stay was absolutely magical. The house is comfortable and cozy. While the living room and kitchen area are small, the primary bedroom suite is large and very comfortable with a fabulous balcony. It’s truly a full beach experience. There are 180 degree views of the ocean from the deck and windows. The Channel Islands are visible as well as boats and surfers. The ocean is literally steps away. If you are looking for being on the water’s edge this is the place. We enjoyed our 3 day visit and thank the host who shared this gem of a beach cottage. We hope to stay again in the future.

Now that’s a beach house!

This is a great beach house . It’s very well-maintained. Has great neighbors and the view is unbelievable. The master bedroom is amazing and the kitchen is well equipped for great cooking. We will definitely be coming back to this one. Paul Powers

Beautiful secluded spot on the water

We loved this home. The view is stunning, and I loved the difference depending on the tide. Smaller living room area but we didn’t care as it was just the two of us. The beds were a bit hard but still comfortable enough. We would stay again for sure. The only downside we experienced was the construction on PCH, shut down and we had to be escorted it took 20-30 min to go 4 miles. Not the fault of the owner:house. The deck was fabulous, our stay was quiet and lovely.

Wonderful!

We have stayed at other properties on this because but this was by far the most unique. We loved the jacuzzi and the sun deck especially. The balcony off the upstairs bedroom was also amazing in the evenings. From the views to the wildlife to the easy beach access to what we consider our favorite beach, this place has it all. We loved our stay!

We have stayed at Faria Beach for 21 years in a row. Our latest Owner, Farshad, has done an incredible job of making sure our stay is always clean, comfortable and memorable. So easy to enjoy the week and the property's lap of luxury.

Lovely home on the water.

We came as an adult family of four. The home is in excellent condition, amply supplied and right on the water. Neighbors were super friendly and fun. Be aware that only 3-4 visitors are allowed due to circumstances outside the owners control. We are local and this made our trip less fun with out being able to have friends up and our kids friends. But we knew this going into it. Just something to note if you’re local. Overall, the contact with the owners representative was always punctual and pleasant and the home is very nice and convenient to the beach, Santa Barbara and Ventura. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect Vacation

The house was better than the online photos depicted. Nice and cozy on the dreary days with the fireplace blazing and the sound of the crashing waves. Has all needed supplies and was well stocked. This house was exactly what we needed for a relaxing family getaway.
