A Stone’s Throw Away From Popular Surf Spot-Mondo’s!

This two level ocean front home is the perfect getaway for families of all ages. Enjoy timeless sunsets while relaxing on the large back deck, or strolling down the perfect sandy beach. This wonderful beach house offers 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and over 2,000 square feet of living space. There is a large open living room, a dining area that seats 8 with spectacular ocean views and a kitchen equipped with all the essentials. The first floor also includes a small library with a couch and card table to help in making unforgettable memories with friends and family. The ocean view living room is a great place to entertain; complete with two couches, chairs, DVD player and television with Charter cable.

The garage holds fun for everyone! No parking in it due to finding plenty of beach toys, boogie boards, a kayak, and sun umbrellas to enjoy your days out on the beach. An outdoor shower and beach towels are provided, along with a full size washer and dryer so that you can keep all your beach towels fresh for the next day’s fun!

This beach front home allows year-round access to the sand—right off the spacious back deck! Take a stroll down the beach to check out the surf at Mondo’s world class surf spot or comb the coast for sea glass and shells. The spacious deck is the perfect spot for enjoying Channel Island views and sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.

The house is conveniently located between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles and just 10 minutes to downtown Ventura with abundant shopping and great restaurants.

Sleeps 10: 1 King bedroom with ocean views, 1 Queen bedroom, 1 bedroom with 4 single/twin beds and ocean views, 1 bedroom with 2 single/twin beds. Also provided is a baby crib and a pack and play.

Great location, outdated dirty house

You can’t beat the location, 100 feet from the ocean. And the size of the house was great as well. But the house is old and dirty and rundown and has things that don’t work, which takes away from the time that you’re not sitting on the beach. The house needs 200 grand of updates and it would be a great house, right now it’s a place that you can tolerate given you’re only 100 feet from the ocean

Fun Beach House

This Beach House checked all our boxes. Family friendly, boogie boards, paddle board, wetsuits, plenty of beach towels, hats, outside shower, views of the ocean while dining, TVs, games & toys for kids/adults, and overall comfort. Thanks for a pleasant experience.

Nice location but disappointed

We originally booked a seven day stay to celebrate my sisters 60th birthday. Our stay was cut down to five days due to hurricane Hilary and the fact we were traveling from Palm Springs area and literally could not exit the area due to closed and impassable roads. We have requested numerous times for some sort of refund for those first two days due to circumstances beyond our control, and the property manager has said he would speak with the owners, and there has been no refund offered or given. Now when asked, the property manager does not even respond to my messages. On the night we finally did arrive, we found less than 1/4 roll of toilet paper in the entire house (of three bathrooms.) The property manager did have someone drop off some toilet paper the next day. Being so close to the beach was a joy and the location was fabulous, there’s not much to complain about there, but the beds and the furniture in the home are dated.

Wonderful Family Beach House

We loved our time at this family-friendly beach house. Although the weather was a little cooler than normal and windy, we spent lots of time on the beach and also looking out the windows overlooking the water. The house was the perfect setup for our three generations (spanning ages 67 to 3 months). We look forward to coming back next year.

Getaway with family

We had a wonderful stay. The weather was beautiful! We took gorgeous walks on the beach, played games, laughed, and had a great time. We wished the patio was lit a bit better so we could be outside a bit longer. It looked like the lightbulbs were burnt out. But overall, a wonderful time.

Great location on sand.

Third time renting here. As advertised however this time the owners called the cops on us for the kids playing games on the beach too loudly. Group was having fun yes , as we should be. The police were laughing at the complaint. Also, we left the place in pristine condition and the owners were staged around the corner when we left. They for some reason were thinking we had too many people and were thrashing. Just the opposite. No apology from them of course.

Excellent Stay

We had a great stay. There was everything there you needed. It was nice to not haul a bunch of things with you. It’s a great stretch of beach, and we had sand out front the entire time. The house size was very accommodating, and very comfortable. We look forward to going back.

Wonderful Beach Experience!

We had a wonderful time at this property - everything was as we expected from the pictures and description. The beach access and views were amazing! There was plenty of comfortable seating on the deck to enjoy the view, and we loved being out there when we weren't walking the beach. The location was amazing, and we are already hoping to return next year.

Wonderful way to spend our 50th Wedding Anniversary

This property is on an amazing site. The view from the house and the patio are breathtaking. The house is comfortable, homey and well equipped. The little extras like the calendar in the kitchen that showed the high and low tide times, all the water toys in the garage, and the comfortable patio furniture were appreciated. All we really needed to bring was our food and our clothes. The house could use a few updates but we didn't let that bother us. We took our children, their spouses, and our grand kids for a wonderful family week together. One evening we renewed our wedding vows on the patio looking out into the ocean. It was magical. The property manager was very helpful and always got back to me when I had questions. All the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The sound of the ocean while falling asleep was so soothing. If you want a beach rental right on the water, this is the place to rent. Like I said they need some updating but the pros outweigh the cons. Thank you for a fantastic Anniversary Week!

Fabulous beach house

Lovely, spacious house right on the beach. We hosted 11 people for a wedding and had plenty of room. Lots of spaces for chatting, dining and cozy conversations.

Worn out and dirty

The only good thing about this property is the location. The home itself is in need of some major renovations. The carpet is stained and torn, furniture is torn and the entire home is dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning. Air vents are ridden with dirt as well as the windowsills. I have never been so disappointed in a rental through VRBO as I was with this one. I called VRBO twice regarding this and both times I was disconnected once after 18 minutes and then after 14 minutes of holding on. The posting for this property said nothing of the condition and lack of cleanliness. It was a total misrepresentation of the property that I rented.

Beautiful home with lovely view and access to the ocean

We had a great stay in this lovely home. There was plenty of space for all eight of us and it was great to have three bathrooms. The kitchen had all of the wares we needed (blender, crock pot, hand mixer, etc). We loved spending time inside the home, on the back porch, and at the beach. Early in the morning there was a lot of animal life a short walk down the coast. The garage is well stocked with all kinds of beach equipment. We had a great time with the kayak and paddle board in particular. We wish we had been able to stay longer!

The location and size of the house was perfect. I would lose the nick nacks in the playroom, many children (my grandson included) are afraid of clowns. You need to replace the torn or holy window screens (one night we got infested with sand flies).There was not enough toilet paper/dishwasher soap/ no laundry detergent. We did like that body wash, shampoo and conditioner were supplied and in the large packaging. But we could not find washcloths. The beach towels were great.The kitchen and appliances could be upgraded and cleaner. I don't mind bringing in or putting out the trash bins, but at $600.00 a night I was offended that you wanted me to do your laundry. Thank you for allowing us to rent the house.

Wonderful, spacious house on a lovely little cove

Big house with lots of room to spread out. Easy access to beach and surfing. Great tidepools when the tide is low. House is in good condition and family friendly. We had a super nice time and would highly recommend it!

Absolutely wonderful!

This was the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. I can only hope this property doesn’t get so popular that it becomes hard to book. It was right on the beach and I enjoyed the sound of the waves at night. The sunset were beautiful and the location was perfect. The House was perfect, we BBQ’d almost every night. The House was equipped with all the beach toys you could think of. The beds were comfortable, the House was well stocked. I took the advise of a previous guest and did the Vons grocery store delivery and it was perfect. I look forward to going back.

amazing, fun and plenty of room for a very nice family time at the beach!

I spent a week with my teenage kids. It was amazing, lots of pans and pots, and pretty much everything we need it to cook every meal at the house. The outside bbq and cute table with little coffee lights was a bonus. So many beds with extra sheets and pillows was very convenient. The house had a very pleasant breeze and the sound of the ocean in the master bedroom was very romantic. The water toys kept my kids and me occupied the entire time. A washer and dryer its also a plus. We just loved to sit outside on the huge deck every evening. We will love to come back to this house in the future.

Great location - easy walk to surfing -good beach

We had a great time. The house was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for all eight of us. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were plenty of boogie boards, surf boards and beach toys. The only drawback was that the two bedrooms away from the beach were noisy.

Perfect home for your next family vacation!

We selected this house for our family to enjoy a week together and it was perfect! The house was spacious, clean and is literally equipped with everything you need inside and out. The patio provided a great place to gather and play games, eat our meals and watch the waves. The kids spent everyday playing volleyball on the beach and taking full advantage of all the beach toys that were provided. The property manager Vanessa was wonderful to work with and communication was great. We would absolutely recommend this house. We can't wait to come back!
