Nice location. Close to restaurants and groceries and yet a bit secluded.I was disappointed that the climate control was shut off instead of limited to 27C as per local regulations. Two days the inside temperature was about this and climate control would have helped.

Wonderful apartment in a great neighbourhood

My two daughter and I found this apartment to be the perfect size. One double bed for them to share and a single bed for me. The kitchen was well equipped and over all had everything we needed. We really liked the neighbourhood, it is outside the tourist area and gave us a better feel for the city. It adds a 15 minute walk to your day but totally worth it.

Das war unser dritter Aufenthalt in dieser hellen und gut gelegenen Wohnung. Leider waren wir dieses Mal enttäuscht. Erst nach zweimaliger Anfrage erhielten wir endlich knapp 12 Stunden vor unsere Anreise die Angaben für die Wohnungsübernahme. Wir traffen die junge Dame in der Wohnung und dann ging alles sehr schnell. Bezahlung der Tourismustaxe und das wars. Kein Wort über Venedig, keine Tips etc. In der Wohnung entdeckten wir dann verschiedene Mängel Im Bad herausgerissener Moskitoschutz,Sprung in der Fensterscheibe Im Schlafzimmer unzählige Moskitos, keine Glühbirne in der Nachttischlampe, nur ein leeres Gewinde Im Durchgangszimmer Nachttischlampe funktioniert nicht In der Küche funktioniert der Wasserhahn nicht richtig, kein warmes Wasser , nur sehr wenig Kaltwasser. Das Internet funktionierte nur sehr sporadisch, auch nicht jeden Tag.

Cute spot in Dorsoduro square

I had a really lovely stay at the Dorsoduro apartment! The space was clean, cozy, and perfectly located in a charming part of Venice, making it easy to explore the city. The apartment had everything I needed for a comfortable visit, and the host was friendly and helpful. My only small suggestion would be to provide a bit more soap for showering and washing up! Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this apartment.

Authentic & Charming

The apartment was comfortable and a nice place to relax after a day sightseeing, away from all the hustle & bustle. And yet there were a choice of nice eateries just outside the door. We also used the kitchen facilities to cater for our own breakfast and some other meals. A good 15 min walk to the station or vaporetto stop.

Apartment was clean and comfortable and in a quiet location. Check in process was a little poor. We were told not to be late for our arranged meet with the keyholder, who then turned out to be half hour late. Biggest gripe was the description does state that the double bedroom can only be accessed through the single room, rather awkward for my sister

Charming apartment outside the tourist area

My spouse and I stayed here 5 nights and found it to be as advertised—a well appointed, comfortable apartment in a non touristy neighborhood. We felt like we were getting a taste of living in Venice, unmarred by the crowds of sightseers. Our checkin was flawless with our checkin agent, Freddy, meeting us at Pizzale Roma and guiding us to the apartment—very much appreciated as we were seriously jet lagged. Freddy was friendly and welcoming-helping us get oriented to the area, some favorite restaurants, and grocery stores. The host was also very communicative. The kitchen was well appointed as were the rooms. The large number of windows brought excellent light in. The beds were comfortable. We loved the restaurants on the street below our apt-they offered solid food, friendly service, and-for Venice- reasonable prices. Getting to the tourist areas was about a 20-25 minute walk in many cases. The vapororetto stop was 5 min away. There were only a few things to note that kept the apartment, for us, from being perfect. 1)The noise from the restaurants made sleeping at night (at least until after 11 or 12 pm) dependent on good earplugs. I suspect on cold and rainy evenings this might not be the case. 2) The shower is on the small side and might not work for anyone is either claustrophobic and/or on the large side. 3) I would have liked the water to be hotter—a personal preference not shared by my spouse. Minor issues. We would definitely come again.

Perfect location and easy check in and out

We’ve stayed in Venice many times before but this is one I’ll come back to. Perfect location on a small and quiet piazza in Dorsodouro with excellent restaurants and cafes just steps away. 5 min to the nearest grocery store and vaporetto. Host was responsive to every question and welcoming. Highly recommend for families and couples traveling to Venice.

Great stay for New Years

Very convenient location to the train station and in a quiet neighborhood away from the tourist crowds, but within a short walk to attractions and water taxi stops. Make sure to specify ahead of time when your check-in appointment time is, so as to not run into any scheduling conflicts. Other than that, it was a great stay. Vicky was very nice and the key access team communicated often, would highly recommend staying here. Grazie mille!

Reasonable value, could use more fans during the summer

Ernst did a good job providing directions to the building. He met us there, explained the space, the rules of the rental, and collected the city tax. The apartment was cute. However, it was incredibly hot in Venice. With only one air conditioner in the unit and no fans, we could really only use the room with the a/c (the bedroom) and the walk-through bedroom adjacent to it. This is also the only rental (out of the 10 we’ve been in on our trip) which provided only 1 roll of toilet tissue for a stay of 3+ nights for 3 guests. These two items are not deal-breakers. The rental was nice and reasonably priced.

Perfect location and atmosphere.

It was a great location with a very traditional and authentic sense of Venice. Quiet neighborhood, lovely community, and close access to water, food, drinks, etc. Would absolutely stay in this place again, and most definitely the neighborhood surrounding it.

Great location and lots of room

This was a great location, not a far walk from the train station and easy to find. Had lots of room for us to play games in the kitchen and hang out in the living room. Even had a desk so I could work while not busy with the sites. The AC stopped working the first night and I tried to reach out to the person who checked us in but it did not get fixed before we left. Not sure what happened. He tried to walk me through out to reset it but I didn't have anything small enough to fit in the hole to hit the restart button. Trash is picked up daily but beware they only pick up paper, glass/tin on certain days so be sure you get rid as much of it as you can when you can. We learned that the hard way. You can drop off all non-recyclable items daily. Other than that, it was an amazing place to stay with lots of room. We really enjoyed Venice. I hope to return soon.

La communication avec la cie de gestion n'a pas été excellente. Pas de climatiseur alors que la température était très chaude, les moustiques présents et que l'environnement est très bruyant. L'état de propreté de la douche laissait à désirer pour le moins. Cuisine bien équipée, appartement confortable. Localisation excellente. Le matelas de la chambre principale est pas mal affaissé. Il faudrait le remplacer bientôt.

Schöne Wohnung am Kanal

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Wochenende in der Ferienwohnung. Die Lage ist in einem ruhigeren, weniger touristischen Teil von Venedig. Trotzdem konnten wir alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Der Check-In mit Ernst hat auch wunderbar geklappt. Sogar früher als angegeben. Die Ferienwohnung ist für einen Städtetrip zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Man findet dort alles was man für wenige Tage braucht. (Entgegen der Angabe im Text gibt es keinen Geschirrspüler.) Die Aussicht aus dem Küchenfenster ist wirklich wundervoll. Man soeht von dort direkt auf den Kanal.

Helle, angenehme Wohnung mit schönem Blick auf Kanal

Für 3 Nächte haben wir diese freundliche, geräumige und gut ausgestattete Wohnung sehr genossen. Es hat viel Platz und die Räume sind hell. Von der Küche aus hat man einen schönen Ausblick auf den angrenzenden, mässig befahrenen Kanal. Die Umgebung ist, zumindest am Wochenende, sehr ruhig. Für Langschläferinnen oder Frühinsbettgeher könnte der vor dem Schlafzimmer gelegene kleine Platz mit seinen Bars ein kleines Manko sein. Für uns hat aber alles gepasst. Auch Check-in hat einwandfrei geklappt - danke Ernst fürs Abholen und den freundlichen Empfang!

Tranquil Place to Stay

We very much enjoyed our stay in the lovely region of Dosoduro. Very comfortable stay with all amenities required. Would definitely stay again. Perfectly quiet which is always the main criteria for us.
