Casale il Troncolo is a beautiful farmhouse with the typical architecture of Tuscan farm buildings, built in the mid-1800s.
The cottage with its garden are located within the extraordinary setting of the Migliarino private natural park, owned since 1500 by the Salviati family.
The farmhouse, used in the past as a gamekeeper's residence, was renovated in 2007 respecting tradition and preserving the original architectural elements.
Guests looking for peace and quiet will be welcomed in an oasis of greenery in the middle of one of the best preserved pine forests on the Tuscan coast.
The rooms are furnished with an elegant country simplicity, are large and arranged on two floors with two bedrooms with bathroom on the upper floors and lounge, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor and direct access to the garden.
A few steps from the farmhouse a private gate, strictly reserved for the guests of the Troncolo, gives access to the forest, a natural reserve, part of the Migliarino, San Rossore and Massaciuccoli Regional Park.
Once through the entrance, long avenues and paths that intertwine in the midst of domestic pines, holm oaks, bald cypresses and oaks await you on an area of 2000 hectares. You may come across deer, wild boar and other wild animals that live there in absolute freedom.
Just 4 km along the main road, also beautiful for cycling, you can reach the enchanting sandy beach of Marina di Vecchiano, adjacent to the forest and always part of the Natural Park.
Here you can choose whether to take advantage of the bathrooms equipped with deckchairs, bars and comfortable services, or enjoy the unspoiled nature of the kilometers of free beach that extends to Torre del Lago and then Viareggio.
Important historic Tuscan cities are in the immediate vicinity: Pisa at 7km, Lucca at 13km, Florence at 80km, Forte dei Marmi at 20km, Torre del Lago at 10km (with its renowned Pucciniano festival).

Arranged on two floors with 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with shower on the first floor and a large kitchen with fireplace and large living room with sofa bed and bathroom with shower on the ground floor. The beds are 4 + 1.
Guests are provided with towels and sheets and the kitchen is fully equipped for everyday use.
