There was homemade banana bread in our room and cold water in the fridge after a very long drive from Phoenix.. their backyard is like an oasis in paradise. You can swing and listen to the trickle of their fountain while looking up at the palm trees.. you honestly could just have a private getaway without going to the beach. "It was perfect for husband and me. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the place had everything we needed and more! We enjoyed a glass of wine on the patio too. Location convenient for our needs and close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Also a very nice walking trail just feet away. Jennifer checked on us as well. Very accommodating! "

"Absolutely beautiful property just outside of Lakeside, CA. We selected this location due to it's proximity to my cousin's condo, and it was perfect. House was immaculate, beds were comfortable, and everything was as described! We couldn't have asked for nicer hosts."

"Excellent communication and easy check-in and check-out. The bungalow is tasteful decorated and had everything we needed for a short weekend getaway. Location was great with restaurants, coffee shops, and a small market in walking distance. You can even walk to downtown Carlsbad Village from the place. The minor downside is that it is off of Coast Highway which can be busy and loud so it was not so enjoyable for the outdoor space and keeping windows open at night. I would still consider staying...

"Comfortable, delightful country house on acres of property. Quiet and peaceful, they have almost everything you would need, minus actual groceries. There was even a pair of binoculars we used to supplement the telescope we brought for stargazing. The hot tub was a hit with all of us."
