"Great location. Room was clean, however, the carpets ( very much so), upholstered furniture cushions REALLY need cleaning. Bathrooms could be cleaned more than only once a day. Other guests were friendly. Very funky historical building, so interesting in that regard. The hallways were crowded with old furniture and very dusty and dirty. For safety and ease of mobility, those hallways should be open and clear. Windows in our room were difficult to open, and blinds were broken. Other than that,...

"It's so outdated, but it is clean and the staff is lovely. You have FREE Parking in SF!! You are steps from China Town, a few minutes from little italy and maybe a 20 minute walk to the the wharf. We were really happy since all we needed was a place to lay our heads after a long day on the town."
