"The staff were very nice and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and spacious. That said, breakfast was just day-old pastries and lukewarm coffee, which was disappointing.
The biggest issue was with the Expedia Platinum perks. We usually book VIP hotels for the benefits, but they weren’t really honored here. "Pickup at airport within 20 minutes. The breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable. What stood out above and beyond were the staffs commitment to the customer. From the first shuttle driver to the gal that has 2 sons all were cheerful and very friendly and professional. We truly enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this hotel with these staff members. Love from Michigan and Wales. You guys rocked it out!!!!!!"

"Room was completely outdated, and things like the bathroom were actually difficult to use. Note: You had to”step around the toilet to get into the shower”?
Our door to our room was broken, we reported it immediately, but nothing was done. Much more than an inconvenience to me and my fiancé. I’m assuming all the rooms are the same (?), so it’s unlikely we will be returning to this property."

"The hotel smelled of air fresheners and the pool was nearly the size of a hot tub. The location was good, but the parking situation was pay by the day. "This hotel was way more than I expected it to be. The room was comfortable. The staff was helpful with what we needed. It was in a great location l. Everything you needed was less than a ten minute drive away.
If I would give a con about the place would be that the water pressure was low and the water could have been hotter otherwise it was a great stay."

"I absolutely love the property; my only hang up was the pool. The water was cloudy which made me not want to swim. And besides housekeeping throwing away my food I didn't finish ( i was upset about that) everything was great! BTW the crab cakes at the restaurant were on point!"

"I would not recommend staying at Sonesta Select Greenbelt College Park.
Our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The hotel is poorly maintained and appears to be falling apart. The biggest issue was that our bathroom toilet flooded, creating an unsanitary situation. When we reported it to the front desk, we were told there was “nothing they could do” because someone had stolen the only plunger two days earlier. That is completely unacceptable for any hotel.
