"We had a lovely stay and were made to feel extremely welcome. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Walking distance from town and close to multi-storey carpark, which was useful. There was a great selection for breakfast and it was possible to choose what you wanted for a cooked breakfast. Fantastic, quirky stay with mugshots of criminals lining the walls and prison doors into rooms. Would definitely stay again"

Although the hotel has centuries of history, every corner of the hotel was well maintained by keeping the tradition and atmosphere at its original style. "We had a lovely stay. Andrew was a great host and showed us everything we needed. The bar was humming and our dinner was fabulous. We had a great nights sleep. The renovated bathroom was excellent and had a nice big shower. Room 2 was lovely overall. Breakfast in the morning was excellent.. Overall we had a lovely overnight stay at the Cricketers Inn and would not hesitate to stay here again when in the area. "
