"Stayed here for 2 nights with a friend for a girls trip and the home is awesome! Awesome ocean views from the living room and bedroom upstairs. The garden is the star of the show! Beautiful flowers and succulents and even an ocean view from the backyard. A beautiful spot to have a glass of wine or coffee. We had an issue with the breakers in the home and it was quickly rectified. We will be back for sure!"

"This home is stunning and exceeded our expectations. Views are amazing from the home and the walk to the cliff is perhaps 2 minutes and the beach just a few minutes more. The area is serene and at most you see a few joggers or a couple other people hiking. The office was a perfect place to take a few morning calls before a lovely breakfast on the beach. We didn’t cook a full meal (we picked up chowder and crab sandwiches in Bodega Bay to bring up with us), but the kitchen was well appointed...

"We loved the house! Upon entering, the first thing that came to my mind was "WOW, what a steal!" Picturesque views and the proximity to town made our vacation so enjoyable! Loved the little path down to the beach, definitely wish we had done that more. Just a few downsides though. The bed wasn't that comfortable for us, but that's just a preference for a firmer bed. Also the "paperwork" was a bit much and a little annoying. Other than that, we had a very good time and highly recommend this...

"House was beautiful.The only issue was dealing with the management Vacasa. Their website says to contact them for late check out and got a “No.” Also said to call for an additional dog but again said “No.” I don’t understand why they say call but basically don’t bother because it’s going to be “No.”"

"This beautifully-aged classic house must be one of the originals. It has definitely stood the test of time, and has been well-maintained and restored over the years. The view out over the ocean from the open-beamed living room, while enjoying a glass of wine in front of a gently crackling fire, evokes the spirit of the best of Sea Ranch. The house comes very well stocked, especially the kitchen, where a good cook can feel right at home. Truly a delightful place to spend a few relaxing days."

"The pictures in the listing were very inspiring but they can’t capture the true beauty of this spot. The accommodations were great inside and out and the views were amazing. There are beautiful hikes and beaches throughout the area but you could also happily just stay put in this jewel!!!"

"My boyfriend and I came to Mendicino to relax and unwind from stressful jobs. I am a nurse and just the sound of the waves crashing was relaxing. The place was super comfortable, only add I could see being better would have been an outdoor hot tub."

"This is a new place… in the property where Blackberry Inn was located. It is 2 minutes from town and this location can’t be beat. The grounds are great, and once this place is finished, I would say it would be the best place to stay. We are ‘old’ groupies from the heritage house days, but it has changed and not for the better. Mendo Bungalows will be the ‘ place to be’. "
