"This is our second time staying at Baernhaus- it has become our go-to place to stay in Government Camp. Clean, sleek, modern but very cozy. Perfect location- short 1 block walk to Govy, yet completely private setting, elevated in the trees. Nice separation of bedrooms from common areas. Bedroom arrangement better suited for families but workable for couples. Definitely staying here again!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the "Mountain Rose" ask Majestic Mountain Retreat. It was clean, comfortable beds, and was well stocked for cooking/dining at home. This cabin is nicely decorated - updated and comfortable/cozy. I've stayed in many rentals in Govy and this is my new favorite. Nice that I could bring my small dog along also. I only docked one star in my review because the map pin in the listing is not reflective of the actual location. Location is not up in Alpenglade, it's just right off...

"Enjoyed the stay, very clean and comfortable townhome right in Govt Camp. Enjoyed the back deck overlooking the creek. Easy check in and out. Minor maintenance issues: garbage disposal not working, CO monitor not working, and not able to stream Netflix as advertised. But, would definitely stay again."

"The house is as listed. The communication with landlord/manager is not good. Not sure when they plan on repairing the bathroom that was marked “out of order” when we checked in. The refrigerator has some kind of water running out of it. The vacuum is broken. There’s trim coming off the wall upstairs. The shower curtain rod fell on my son while he showered. Several screens have holes. The cabinetry is broken in a spot. There was sand, piles of sand, in the dryer. The place smelled of cigarette...

"Very quaint cabin. Well sized for us two adults. Beds comfy and it was plenty warm. Outside temps were lo 30’s. Some sunshine, some drizzle. Didn’t utilize any cooking as we were attending a destination wedding where all meals were provided at another rental location. Wi- Fi was flawless which is extremely important for us with multiple devices each. Very charming place and would return to same if another opportunity presents. Totally recommend!"

"Stayed over memorial day weekend, booked fairly last minute and was super surprised this place was still available. You open the front door to great open floor plan and a marvelous view of the lake. Couches were so comfy, beds were too which was surprising since we have a purple mattress at home most nights away are painful, these were not. The canoe and kayak were awesome amenities. "The epitome of a Christmas cabin. Quaint and quirky with all its different landing levels and window shapes. Just enough rustic charm with all modern amenities a bigger family hopes for. Great proximity to Skibowl and tubing and ton of pubs and cafes, enough wooded privacy to feel like your secluded in the woods. We hope to return again! Thank you for sharing your home with us."
