Fully equipped kitchen: cabinets, 30 inch range, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator. Bedroom has king size bed. Master bedroom has a full bath. with: T V. Hardwood floors. Bathroom has a full size washer and dryer. Living room hardwood floors has sleep sofa queen size bed. Second full bathroom with tiled tub/shower. Dining table seats 6.. Has two televisions One :55 inch screen wall mounted TV with Direct T V 200+ channels . High speed comcast internet. deck.. Second t v in bedroom. 2 blocks from 5 restaurants. Enjoy this raised house with 19 palm trees and well landscaped gardens. Next to a cottage with no shared walls.
Cottage is within 2 blocks of 5. restaurants and the super Memorial Park . Park has 10 plus under covered pavilions and picnic table),one acre grass field for yard games + volley ball, tennis and basket ball courts.) No shared walls. Rental 30 days or more. Two parking spaces. All utilities

Cozy, clean, comfortable cottage. Easy walk to the beach. Comfortable King bed. Well-stocked kitchen. Two baths were nice. Air conditioning worked well. Quiet neighborhood (gets dark at night). Walking to good restaurants.

Short walk to beach

We really enjoyed this clean property, literally a 2 minute walk to a quiet section of the beach. Saw dolphins every day! Be sure to have dinner at the nearby Sundae Cafe.. it was AMAZING.

Weekend getaway

This was our first visit to Tybee Island, we came for the long Labor day weekend. The cottage was just as described, and within a short walk to restaurants and the beach. Our host Ed and Pat were very helpful in giving us suggestions for places to eat on the Island. Ed was quick to respond when a small issue occured. We enjoyed our stay on Tybee.

Beach access across the street!

The public beach access is right across the street and the beach store is next door which made it nice for ice & supplies. The interior of the unit was clean and the upper deck was neat. A/C was cold.

Great visit to Tybee

Had a great time at Tybee. (Just didn't last long enough, lol) House was exactly as described. And did not disappoint. Perfect location.. close enough to everything but far enough too.. Morning runs and evening walks were convenient because I could walk across the street to the beach.. Will definitely return! :)

Great Vacation near the beach

Okay, the property here is a 1 bedroom with a pullout couch , 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. It is about 2 blocks from the 2nd ave beach entrance. We had an awesome 6 day trip and would recommend if you’re party is 4 peeps.

A nice quiet location.

We enjoyed the stay. We didn't mind the stairs at all. Coffee on the deck in the morning was very relaxing. The beach access was good since traffic stops when using the crosswalk. It is a very nice set up and we will consider returning. Thanks

Great beach access-close to restaurants too--plenty to do

We had such a fabulous time at Tybee Island, and much of that was due to this cute place we stayed. Ed, the owner, happened to be there when we pulled up, and gave us great suggestions for our stay, and the next morning provided us with a Tybee Beachcomber. The place had a fully stocked kitchen if you'd rather cook meals, but it was also just a block away from restaurants including Sundae's Cafe, located in a tiny strip mall, but was soooo good. There's also the sugar shack right across the street from Sundae's, along with others within walking distance. As for beach access, we grabbed chairs provided by the owners and walked across the street and we were literally a hundred yards or so from the beach. We spent a couple of lovely mornings in the ocean. The apartment itself has a sofa bed, which we pulled out to watch movies on the smart TV. We brought our own roku to stream shows. There's a couple of comfy chairs as well. The bed in the master was soft and comfortable just the way we like it It was our first week away in a few years, and this trip couldn't have been better. If you do plan to come, there's a Publix right before crossing over onto the island--it's a convenient place to pick up groceries, given the IGA on the island is fairly small. Our last evening we took a dolphin cruise at sunset with Captain Derek's crew--highly recommended if you haven't had a chance to see the local dolphins having a great time. Thank you Ed for such a fun place to stay!

Tybee basecamp

This upstairs apartment was exactly as described. It’s clean and well kept. The interior is comfortable and functional. The second story deck is perfect for morning coffee or a sunset wind-down. It was our favorite feature. The property comes with all the necessities for a good stay. The location was perfect for us as a basecamp for lots of water activities. The beach is two blocks east. We launched kayaks from Alley Three just a few minutes away. And we were within striking distance of many other kayaking venues just off the island. A number of good restaurants are walking distance or a short bike ride away. There’s no need to leave the island. The garage on property provided a safe place out of the weather for our kayaks, trailer and gear. And the neighborhood is quiet and cute. Our hosts were responsive and cooperative, and very quick to answer our questions. We would certainly come back again.

Great Beach Cottage

Only 2 blocks from the beach in a quiet neighborhood. Well situated near restaurants. Overall a good experience with a comfortable bed and generally nice environment. Called the owner who was very helpful in recommending restaurants.

Exactly as described!

Great location and very clean!! We didn’t cook but it looked like the kitchen had everything you could need and then some. A lot of the other properties we looked at stated they didn’t offer basic items (tp, paper towels etc..) but this one does which is nice to not worry about when bringing a lot of beach items from 12+ hours away. Master bed very comfortable and all linens were comfy as well. We especially loved the area at the bottom of the stairs for cooler and beach stuff. The only changes I would make would be to add a dresser or somewhere to put non-hanging items and a movable shower head. At 5’2” it hit me straight in the face the entire shower. Not a big deal but it would be nice for us shorter people. Recommend and would stay here again!

had a small mishap, but enjoyed our stay.

My family and I had been searching for a nice rental for our beach trip. It was my parent’s first time on the island and I happened to stumble upon Ed and Patty’s place. I would say that our overall stay we definitely enjoyed, we loved the fact that the beach is pretty much 2 minutes away. you basically just need to cross the street. The house is just as it’s listed, checking in/out was very easy. Communication with owners was very fast as well. Our only con of our stay was that on our first night we spotted a mouse go behind the couch, and as we were trying to find it, we found some droppings. We vacuumed the place just in case, and cleaned and little more thoroughly. I contacted owners immediately, and he said they just had pest control check the property I believe the Saturday before and nothing was found... he also explained they have people come and make sure it’s clean as well as pest control setting traps and checking regularly. Long story short we bought some cheap glue traps and caught the mouse the next day. Mystery of how the mouse got in was never really solved. But Ed did assure us that he was going to Contact Pest control, and also have someone check the property for any holes. We enjoyed our vacation at tybee, the island has a lot to offer, and this listing is in a great location. Thanks Ed and Patty for allowing us to book your place!

Easy walk to restaurants and beach access

The apartment is on the north end away from downtown but not away from amenities and public beach access. Tybee is a small family friendly island with most of the busy areas two miles south at the pier. That leaves lots of uncrowded beach and good family friend restaurants one or two blocks away.
