  • Ocean Walk es una encantadora casa de playa, perfectamente ubicada en un carril privado, con vista directa al Océano Atlántico. Los huéspedes quedarán cautivados por la relajante envoltura alrededor del porche en el nivel principal. Disfrute de la brisa marina desde el porche cubierto que se encuentra justo sobre las dunas naturales. Esta casa clásica de dos pisos tiene un paseo marítimo semiprivado que se encuentra a solo unos pasos de la puerta principal. La amplia playa abierta está a solo un paseo por el paseo marítimo que te lleva por las dunas.

    El nivel de vida principal de la casa está en el segundo piso, con una escalera interior que es ancha y acogedora. El espacio distintivo de estilo vintage tiene un brillante plano de planta abierto con grandes puertas corredizas de vidrio en ambos lados. Abre las puertas para revelar un gran porche cubierto al aire libre que permite la entrada del exterior. El gran porche le hará sentirse como en casa y estará donde desea pasar su tiempo disfrutando de la hermosa vista y sintiendo la serenidad de la brisa del océano. Escuche atentamente para escuchar las olas rompiendo en la orilla. Pase días relajados y entretenidos en el porche, que cuenta con cómodos asientos y una gran mesa de comedor, ideal para cenas familiares con vista al océano.

    Hay dos dormitorios y dos baños en la planta principal. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama King y un televisor y un baño adjunto con ducha a ras de suelo. El dormitorio de invitados tiene una cama Queen y un baño completo con una combinación de bañera y ducha en el pasillo. En la planta baja, el tercer dormitorio de invitados tiene una cama king size y camas adicionales con un sofá cama doble con una cama nido, ideal para miembros de la familia con niños. Esta habitación cuenta con un televisor inteligente de pantalla plana de 40 pulgadas, para transmitir sus propios medios (no hay cable en esta habitación). En la planta baja hay un medio baño y dos duchas separadas que hacen que el enjuague después de un día en la playa sea muy fácil.

    El área del garaje se ha convertido en una sala de entretenimiento, completa con una mesa de ping-pong, ¡desafía a tus invitados a un partido amistoso! Hay una parrilla de gas y una ducha al aire libre fuera de la casa. A pocos pasos de la entrada principal de la casa se encuentra el paseo marítimo privado que conduce sobre las dunas a la playa. El paseo marítimo es largo para poder pasar sin peligro por las dunas naturales protegidas de la isla central. La amplia playa de la isla central de Tybee es un tranquilo tramo de playas de arena blanca rodeadas de hermosas dunas naturales.

    Ocean Walk está ubicado en la 11th Terrace, justo enfrente del mercado de Tybee Island IGA y está a aproximadamente media milla del distrito de negocios South End y del muelle y pabellón de Tybee Island. Esta casa ofrece Wifi y estacionamiento para hasta 4 vehículos.

While we enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect, the Property is very outdated and could use a carpet cleaning and paint job. Amenities to take down to the beach (chairs, umbrellas etc most all broken or nonfunctional.

Quiet and relaxing week

The porch on this home is perfect, always a breeze and very comfortable furnishings. Nice to be just a few blocks from the grocery store with only one major street to cross and could also walk to several close by restaurants for lunch and breakfast. Although it was just the two of us the house was perfect for a family of 7 or less.

Fun Vacation

This was our first trip to Tybee Island. We had a great time. The house is cute and met our needs. Love that it had vintage decor. :-) loved that it was right next to the boardwalk. The screened porch was wonderful in the mornings, evenings and during rain storms. Enjoyed playing ping pong too. I would hope someone checks the smoke detector and electrical outlets as some of them sparked and became warm with use. Overall nice house and fun vacation!

Boardwalk away from the beach

You can't beat the location! It is at the end of a short, residential street with the boardwalk to the beach just steps away from the driveway. The outdoor space is fantastic with lots of seating and a great grill. Easy walk to the Pier. The main floor has 2 bedrooms right off the living area. There is a 3rd bedroom downstairs on the garage, street level. the house could use some updating, but overall it suited our family of 6 perfectly.

Well-maintained beachfront house

Everything was in good working order, which you don't always find at a vacation rental. The house has a huge wrap-around porch facing the ocean and the side street. We did not get much use out of it in January, but it would be great in a warmet month. We still had plenty of indooor space.

Perfect island and House.

We are a family with 2 kids under two. This was our first family trip. If you have a family of little ones and want to stay on the beach, this is the house for you. It was so worth the price to see and hear the ocean. It also made it easier to trek our stuff and children out to the beach. The porch is where our family hung out when we weren’t at the beach or out and about. The house has a classic beach get away feel. The island itself is great for families, never more than a 5-10 minutes drive to somewhere. We loved it and will return frequently.

Location is fantastic- mid island, as close to the beach as possible and walkable to many restaurants as well as the only grocery on the island. Other than that this house is in desperate need of an update. The beds have to be 30 years old. The living room furniture is meant for a sunroom- not for sitting for a while. I don’t see how you could fit more than 4 people here- yes there are technically beds for 8 but there is not enough space for 8 people to

House was comfortable, the porch was fantastic. The home furnishings are exactly as it looks in the photos , although they are a bit dated they are excellent quality and frankly gave the home a very comfortable vibe . The updated kitchen and grill are terrific as we cooked a few dinners and breakfasts . Being able to walk down the street to the market was awesome. We loved the privacy of the boardwalk walk to the beach as well . The house is perfectly situated for a quiet beach retreat and easy walk into the main part of town . Would definitely stay again. Just a quick note , however, if you’re traveling long distance which we did (from Virginia) and you’re hoping for a slightly early check in (an hour or so) if the property is ready which I’ve been allowed to do in many properties I’ve rented over the years this property was very strict on exact check in even though the unit was clearly unoccupied and ready . The property customer service reps were very polite ( you’re not dealing directly with an owner on this unit ) , however , not helpful in giving us a little wiggle room on checking in early which was a bit disappointing.

A very tiny sneak peek of the ocean from the screened in balcony. Property was not 5-star clean, but property manager did offer to send housecleaning for the unswept floors, which we did decline as we did not want to deal with on our vacation. Coffee pot was a small 4 cup pot, no filters provided. No gas for grill and grill looked to be more work to clean it than worth it. We considered not usable. Ping pong table unstable use at own risk with damaged paddles. There was leftover broke chairs and sand toys in garage. Bath towels looked clean. Beds were comfortable with firm mattresses. There were six steps a small landing, and then eight steps to the main floor. The staircase was indoors with a nice handrail. Inside unit, furniture was dated and there was barely a view. The boardwalk to the ocean is long as the description states with 2 steep inclines and descents. Overall, an overpriced unit. Expected an amazing view and/or exceptional unit for the cost. Would not recommend due to cost for value.

Excellent location! Needs a little work though.

This house could not be in a better location. Mid-beach, quiet area, and the wonderful screened veranda offers breezes and sun or shade just when you want it. You can hear the waves from there, as well as the birds singing in the dunes, and the fact that there are sliding doors opening to the living area is a big plus. The carpets have been replaced with engineered marble tiles and they are warmer and softer than ceramic. Indoor and outdoor furniture and beds were comfortable and everything was clean. All good! That said, the bathroom plumbing fixtures are in sad shape and it's anyone's guess which way to turn them for on/off; one dripped constantly; neither of the hot water spigots in the kitchen were operational; the blender was well past its prime (couldn't puree a cubed cucumber). Nothing was important enough to warrant a call to the managers but for the price I felt that these items should have been seen to. Be sure to bring your own spices and paper products (the paper towels supplied were like tissue paper). All of that took it from 5 to 4 stars. Still, the home has so many positives I would definitely rent it again!

Great little house in a great location

This house was perfect, some retro 80’s beach decor with a decent ocean view, walking distance of most of the shops and restaurants on Tybee. Would definitely stay here again. Note:carpets described in prior review have all been removed, vinyl flooring was in perfect condition.

Best Beach Experience

This property was the perfect location. You can watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the amazing and huge porch. The grocery store was write across the street. The carpet desperately needs changing. Thank you Ocean Walk

Great location but needs MAJOR updates

The location is amazing. The house has great potential. But the photos on this rental page are outdated (they were probably taken several years ago.) The common area carpets are very stained. And several of the appliances do not work (some examples: free standing ice maker - which had black mold, oven hood, front right stove eye.) We also experienced a water leak issue and a broken A/C. The latter A/C issue was reported and maintenance showed up in a timely fashion to repair it. But about the water leak: there was significant water damage to the ceiling of the downstairs bedroom, which we reported upon arrival. We were made aware that the leak had already been reported and inspected by maintenance personnel who were unable to recreate the issue. The next day, part of the ceiling fell off onto the floor and daybed. It's very frustrating that this wasn't disclosed to us before arrival and that little was done to repair it during or before our stay. We had family members (70 and 90 years old) staying in that room and I worried about the ceiling caving in all week. Again, the 11th Terrace location is awesome. The beach access is great. But for the price, the property needs updated.

Tybee Ocean Walk

Beautiful property with short walk over private walkway to the beach. Especially loved the screened porch to enjoy the view and sea breezes. Comfortable house with three bedrooms with king beds and bathroom for each of the couples in our group. Convenient to local shopping, restaurants, local sites and historic Savannah. Definitely stay again!!
