Mellow Yellow | Pet Friendly, Cottage, Fenced Yard

Mellow Yellow is a renovated 1950's single-family cottage that offers a great modern feel and lots of character. Situated on a quiet street in the North End of Tybee you can enjoy a restful vacation experience without giving up convenience. Take an easy stroll just 4 blocks, about an 8-minute walk up a one-way lane to access the main beach, with no busy roads to cross. Families will also enjoy the easy access to Jaycee Park with its playground and walking trails. Within a 5-10 minute walk, you will also find several shops and dining options.

Outside amenities include a cozy furnished screened porch on the front of the home perfect for that morning coffee. There is also a fenced backyard with a nicely furnished back deck with table seating 6, gas grill, and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. A great bonus is the Corn Hole set, for hours of extra fun!

There are many modern touches throughout the cottage including a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher and washer and dryer. The comfortable and cozy living area includes a 42 inch flat-screen smart TV and a Queen sleeper sofa for extra sleeping capacity. The bright and open dining area can seat up to 6 at the table.

Mellow Yellow can accommodate up to 6 guests with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, both with tub/showers. The primary bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed and a 37 inch flat-screen TV. The guest bedroom is furnished with 2 Twin beds and must be passed through to access the primary bedroom. The twin room features a nice curtain feature for added privacy.

There is complimentary WIFI for your use. Parking for up to 3 vehicles.

PETS: This home is pet-friendly for up to two (2) adult dogs with approval and additional pet fees. Cats are not allowed in any TVR property. Please Note: Tybee City ordinance does not allow dogs on any Tybee Island beaches

EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (26+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid, the amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property. Cozy Little Getaway

My boyfriend and I vacationed here with our dog and it was the perfect home for us. We loved the layout, the couch and beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked. The backyard was fenced in for our dog to enjoy. It was close proximity to restaurants and the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

The Mellow Yellow cottage was in a great location. With a 2.5 and 5 yr old the quick private walk to the beach was ideal. Outside shower was a must! The cottage was ideal size for a family of four. The house was clean and we had plenty of bath towels. Screened in porch was great especially with the bugs. There was a park in walking distance and when we drove everywhere was about 5 minutes to get to. It’s only @ 30 min drive to downtown Savannah. Recommendations: Bring your own beach towels, sand toys, hand soap and Clorox wipes.

Easy stroll to the beach, quiet neighborhood. Cottage is small but cute. Very clean, very nice fenced yard if you have a dog. Screened front porch, back deck. Good wifi. Bring your own coffee.

Terrific Beach House - Even Better Host

This was a great place. Spacious it is not, but you have everything you need and why get a beach house if you're planning to sit in the house! This was perfect for us and our two dogs. The communication and service from the host was the best we have experienced to date.

The small house is tasteful, comfortable, and so cozy. The king bed and two twins are comfortable, and it's close to the beach. We would definitely stay again. What a fun and colorful cottage!

Family of Six On Christmas Vacation

We are a family of six plus a dog and we fit nicely into this cute, sweetly decorated cottage. The kitchen is well stocked (might want to bring your own hand soap as well as dry and wet condiments) for cooking and the beds comfy enough for our five night stay. Our dog enjoyed exploring the back yard and lounging on the deck in the sun. It’s about a ten minute walk to north beach which was no problem for our school aged children. Enjoy!

Property was in great shape and a great location for us. Close to north end of Island. Easy to get to. Four of us stayed, 3 adults and a teen. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. We took advantage of the grill, the deck, and the bag toss. Close walk to the park and to the beach.

LOVED IT!!

We have rented mostly condos in the past and I have to say we were very impressed! You don't realize the actual square footage as it felt roomy, open and the deck and backyard were perfect! Very very clean with everything working great! Beds very comfortable too! Only easy 7 minute walk to beach and also walking distance to the Lighthouse! Just a very pleasant cottage and lovely stay! ( would only suggest upgrading toilet paper and paper towels provided initially!) Highly recommend !

Charming cottage near beach

Located in a quiet side street, less than 10 min walk to the beach on a gravel road away from traffic. Well equipped and nicely decorated. The cottage is ideal for 4 people, seating space on the porch or deck in the back for those who want to be left alone. The property management company was friendly and responsive, helping us solve a problem with the internet quickly.

My family and I stayed here with our dog for the weekend. It was a really good location, 5-8 minute walk to food, ice cream, the beach, shops. Awesome park close by. We loved the house too. It was a perfect spot for our two little ones and our pup!

Perfect House for a Getaway

We decided on a quick getaway for the weekend and this house fit the bill. This house is small from a square footage standpoint, but so smartly designed that it feels much larger. I was in awe how every space was so well thought out. The screened porch was perfect for book reading in the morning, in the shade and a cool, steady breeze blowing. The cornhole boards were a fun time in the nicely sized backyard. We brought our Yorkie with us and he thoroughly enjoyed being able to explore the grounds. It is a very short walk to the beach and easy walking distance to shops. Based on the layout, I feel it could very comfortably sleep 6 as advertised. My only con would be that the king bed wasn’t comfortable. I never have back pain when I wake up, but both my husband and I did on this trip. Other than that, I would easily recommend this place to anyone.

memorial day memories.

loved the charm of this cute little cottage. located about 5 blocks from the beach we did invest in a golf cart to get around during our stay. the house is so cute and peaceful and we so enjoyed the front porch and cornhole game in the backyard. missing the outdoor shower already. only drawback was the many oleander shrubs in the yard and around the deck. we kept close watch on our little dog and children as the oleander is beautiful but very poisonous!
