Bonita casa de dos dormitorios con muebles sencillos y cómodos, electrodomésticos nuevos y detalles artísticos. Calefacción central / aire y el nuevo baño y cocina harán que su estancia sea cómoda. Observe la puesta de sol y las luces de la ciudad desde el porche cerrado mientras crea sus propios recuerdos especiales o se relaja después de un duro día de trabajo. Es una excelente base para explorar el área o sirve como un refugio tranquilo para dos parejas, escapadas de fin de semana de chicas, viajeros en solitario o contratistas militares.

Situado en 2. 5 acres de jardines nativos. Disfruta de la privacidad y una experiencia memorable en el desierto. La ventaja del turista es evitar la fila de autos que esperan para ingresar al parque a través del pueblo de Joshua Tree (hasta 1 hora de espera en temporada alta). Acércate al parque en el momento que más te convenga. La familia de militares y contratistas que trabajan en la base puede disfrutar de un espacio limpio y privado propio.

Barrio aislado pero céntrico. Hay una casa vecina 2. 5 acres al este sin otras propiedades desarrolladas circundantes. Viaje rápido al centro de 29 Palms y no se pierda el corto viaje al histórico 29 Palms Inn, donde podrá disfrutar de una comida agradable y escuchar música en vivo. Su anfitrión es un guitarrista de jazz que toca ocasionalmente en el restaurante. La vida nocturna local incluye el cercano Tortoise Rock Casino. Los eventos mensuales de observación de estrellas se realizan en el Observatorio 29 Palms. Great Location

This property is perfect for going to Joshua Tree National Park. The house itself was nice but lacking some amenities. It had a mini-fridge instead of full size, the temperature was not fully controllable, the second bedroom lacked window coverings which made the room very bright. The posted ‘House Rules’ could have been more thorough in regards to checkout processes and garbage pick-up days. The location is wonderful and the property was good overall, just not what we expected from the description.

I stayed here in March for a week with a friend. It simply could not have been better. Peaceful, relaxing, gorgeous weather, and simple access to Joshua tree for daily hikes. The hosts were wonderful and the house was absolutely perfect for our stay!!

It has a vibe

The accommodation is readily accessible and sits a short distance off the main road on well maintained dirt road. It is close to the north gate of Joshua Tree, but be aware that Joshua Tree is large and it can still take 20 minutes to reach your trailhead.Disn't make use of the outdoor spaces since it was Jan and we were in the park the bulk of the daylight hours. I thought the interior well decorated, especially liked the planking on the master bedroom wall. That bathroom was updated and my wife liked the pebbled surface in the shower. The kitchen had ample pots and pans and an excellent hood that allowed me to sear steaks without any fear of setting off a smoke alarm. There's no DW which is a bit inconvenient but there was no expectation of one. I was a bit surprised by the size of the frig/freezer, it's oddly small and if you arrived with some large frozen items it could result in a problem. It's clearly pictured, but some notation of 'mini' in the text listing would help avoid any potential bad feelings. Bed and pillow in master were comfortable. A potential issue in using the 2nd bedroom is while the glass door is frosted it doesn't have any coverings and lets in a great deal of light which could be an issue if you're planning on sleeping in. Host was very responsive. Overall I thought the accommodation was a great value and would return.

Peaceful and convenient

20 minutes drive to the best places of the park. We liked the feeling to be in the desert, no noise. Very clean, equipments in perfect condition. Nice 'garden' around. Minor problem: the fridge is rather small

Great Place to Stay

Mayfair House was a nice, clean place to stay. The house is not far from Palm Springs and very close to Joshua Tree NP. Nicole was very responsive to all questions. We would stay there again.

Great place close to Joshua Tree National Park

The house was exactly as described and perfect for our family adventure at Joshua Tree NP. The house is very well located - close to the Park’s Twenty Nine Palms entrance in the town of Twenty Nine Palms. We appreciated that the kitchen had all the equipment we needed to make meals as well as coffee/tea/basic spices etc. The hosts were very responsive to any questions or needs. We recommend this house for your JT Park stay.

Great location if visiting Joshua Tree NP

Quiet location, perfect if you need 2 bedrooms. 4 pillows/bed was great for my back, and toiletries and coffee were provided. The two negatives: no "real" sugar (I bought some and left there), and the couch was uncomfortable. Not a deal breaker, but I'm old and after a full day climbing, I wanted to veg and watch tv and my back was not comfortable. Other than that, really liked the unit and location.

Peaceful desert retreat

We enjoyed staying in this home for three nights. The home is in a good location, not far from downtown Twentynine Palms, and Joshua Tree NP. The house is cute, appeared to be recently remodeled, provided plenty of space for the three of us, is in a super quiet location, and is very clean. The only negatives were the small refrigerator, the lack of a dishwasher, and no laundry, These were minor inconveniences, however, as we had a cooler and only stayed for three nights. The hosts were awesome to deal with, responsive, with fast communication. Overall we really loved staying at this home and would do it again.

This trip was for me, 75-year-old lady and her 85-year-old husband to go and visit the dark skies of Joshua Tree National Park. It was our first time in the area and we had no idea of where we were going and our map app made finding the little house confusing. We called the host and he was immediately available and gave us directions. What a nice little place to stay! Two bedrooms, one bath, nice sized living/dining room, and kitchen in the middle of a sandy desert lot. it was obvious they had put a lot of time, money, and energy into updating their home and everything was new and modern and worked perfectly. It was meticulously clean, the beds were extraordinarily comfortable; it had everything we needed, and the price was great. The location was so convenient to 29 Palms and the national park that it made our trip much more enjoyable. The hosts were readily available and easy to reach. They made it known that our comfort was of upmost importance to them. We would definitely stay there again and will recommend it to anyone else who travels to Joshua Tree.

Perfect place for Joshua Tree trip!

This is the perfect little place to stay if you are planning a trip to Joshua Tree. It’s is comfortable and cozy, and minutes from the park. The host was very nice and accommodating. She always got back to me in a timely manner with any concerns I had. I would definitely stay here again!
