I stayed here with my husband and our ten year old. Location is excellent, between Porta Nova and Porta Susa, a beautiful walk to either train station or to explore the sights in any direction. The sandwich shop downstairs and the Carrefour Express around the corner were both handy. Our main issue with our stay was that it was about 90 / 32 degrees inside the apartment when we arrived. We thought having the AC on for a while would help but it did not at all. The next day, after a horrible night of sleep, we realized whoever had checked the apartment last had left the heat on full blast - all the heaters were turned up all the way. We immediately turned them off, and within a few hours the apartment was a more comfortable 78 / 26 degrees. This seemed a massive oversight by the company and poor management.Entry to the building is very safe and secure. An elevator takes you to floor 4, and then stairs up to floor 5. My husband and I are tall - 6 ft / 180cm - and had to stoop in about half of the apartment. The full height ceiling part of the apartment is quite small. The apartment has the basics for cooking and relaxing. A few things were broken (wine opener) or dirty (glasses, stain on the ottoman), but overall it was comfortable. Sheets were provided for the sleeper sofa but not pillows. This stay was a fine value for the price but could be great with some freshening up and most personal attention to detail.
