"The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. "Well located B&B in old Louisville. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Breakfast each morning was a culinary treat! Truly delicious food. Annette, our Innkeeper, was absolutely delightful. She was helpful and informative. The carpet in 3rd floor bedrooms are overdue for replacement. But it is a charming property. We also had James working at the inn during our stay, and he was very helpful as well. Staff that we interacted with were outstanding."

"There was a broke lamp, the curtains were broke so they couldn’t close all the way, the tub was damaged and patch with tape, and the shower never got hotter than lukewarm. There was rust on the jet areas of the tub. The staff was super helpful and nice especially when the only working vending machine for drinks wouldn’t work."
