Right on the banks of the Moselle in Trier lies a charming little row of houses.

The Zurlaubener Ufer, with its fishermen’s cottages built around 1800. The quaint character of the Zurlaubener Ufer has been preserved to this day. Over the years, a number of restaurants and pubs have opened in these old houses.

The properties near the riverbank have been converted into beer gardens—so Zurlauben promises you an unforgettable evening with a view of the Moselle and the opposite bank.

Today, you can stroll along the Zurlauben embankment, which is lined with charming little restaurants, bars, and beer gardens where you can enjoy the fantastic view of the Moselle. The city of Trier’s boat docks are also located here, so you can set off on round-trip or day cruises from this spot.

During the summer months, open-air events and street food markets take place regularly around the large panoramic staircase.

Nowhere else in the city can you sit so relaxed right next to the Moselle and just enjoy yourself.
