"Lovely, well maintained Victorian building with staff who go the extra mile to be welcoming and helpful. Parking is available though limited. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with roomy en-suite baths. There is a lot of traffic on the nearby roads, so bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise."

"Perfect base for us"

"We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too. Our dogs were very happy and calm and safe there . I would happily recommend this room (2) for anyone travelling with dogs. Thank you Wynnstay and staff, you made our trip really comfortable."

"This is the best stay I have had away from home. The host was so welcoming, it was like visiting a close friend. Well taken care of. I was in Shrewbury for a Triathlon, and had to be taken to hospital. The host took in my bike from UK Triathlon who delivered it to help me. Breakfast was brililant. And the room was MASSIVE. More than just and B&B"

"Stayed for one night, with my son, for a Mazda MX5 car meet up in the car park- the reason for our stay. The hotel is very nice. We had a meal in the Savvy Fox - i like the decor. The meal was very nice - but not cheap. The twin room was very basic, but was clean and adequate for a one night stay. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. We had breakfast, plenty of choice and enjoyable. It was good to have a normal toaster too - no need to put the bread in twice. 😄 We...

"We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. Continental breakfast was served promptly at 8 am and the addition of fresh strawberries and blueberries was a definite plus! Check in / check out was swift and efficient.
