Apparently double booked, not that anyone bothered to inform me. We were stranded on the streets of Toulouse despite assurances from VRBO that this wouldn’t happen and to continue with our holiday. Ended up in a grotty Ibis for the week. Very little help from VRBO while in Toulouse we were basically left to organise accommodation ourselves. We got our money back from the host, but the holiday was ruined. I have since sent a written complaint to VRBO but a week later and I’m still waiting for an apology.
When booking this apartment be aware the host does NOT answer his emails and NEVER picks up the phone.
