"It seems Hotel.com doesn’t pass on messages from their website to the actual hotel. We had written about dietary needs due to allergies and the manager said Hotel.com hadn’t informed him. "Liz and Paul were very friendly and took all our requests and answered them quickly. Breakfast was out of this world. Room was very clean and plenty of sockets for all your things that needed charging, it was also very spacious. Liz was always there to answer any questions and Paul was always around but not seen very much as he was probably chained to the range dealing with all the breakfasts, but very pleasant when you did see him :-). "We stayed in Heathcliff House for a couple nights in August and had a very pleasant stay. Alex and Stacey were both really welcoming and the breakfast was lovely which catered for vegetarians (a huge factor for me!). The car park was also a bonus for us, however the beach and town centre were both in walking distance and public transport very close by too. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anybody looking for somewhere to stay in Torquay 😊"

"A great spot with stunning views across the bay towards Exmouth, also privileged to see beautiful sunrises in our seaview room. The room was clean and comfortable and our host was available if needed but not intrusive. Breakfast was more than adequate in quantity and the quality of the cooked breakfast was excellent. I can't fault it at all, we had a three night stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B."

"Ericka, the proprietor, could not have made our stay more pleasurable. This property is beautiful as is, but the care and concern she showed us (we booked two separate rooms) was amazing. The cooked breakfast was excellent as well. This is a place that makes walking in to town easy or you could just sit in one of the outdoor spaces and admire the garden."
