"A little modern haven - smells divine. We were in balcony room 403, which in September was in full sun and not usable, but beautiful view over the River - also reflected in mirrored closet door. Every amenity, double sinks, rain shower and handheld shower. Only one chair, no desk, little fridge. The front desk was kind and public areas well appointed and bicycles to borrow. "A fantastic hotel. Its a former palace in the town - not a huge sprawling complex but a palace nonetheless. Has an beautiful grand marble-laden entraceway and courtyard with a fountain, room was spacious/luxurious. There's a second outdoor courtyard area for drinks/breakfast, roof terrace with loungers, a small pool and views over the city, and small but lovely spa in the basement. If that wasn't enough you're a 10-15 minute walk through charming windy streets to the Santa Cruz/Cathedral...

But this was not replaced. It is on bottle per reservation. As I was there for 6 nights that was poor service. Hotel in a nice quite residential area."
