This is a great place to stay. It was close enough to everything, but still a nice quiet place to stay. Everything was clean, there was plenty of room for our family of four. I would stay here again. It had all the amenities that we needed

The property location is great! Within walking distance of many great shopping and dining options. Quiet neighborhood. Very convenient for families (my teenagers loved the location, so close to Shibuya's great entertainment). Strongly recommend it if you want to stay very close to Shibuya Crossing. I will stay at this property again.

Great location, was awesome to have two seperate rooms and kitchenette facilities. Was close to everything but just far enough the night life doesn’t keep you awake.

Salon Shibuya was a great place to stay - the space was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We slept well and enjoyed our down time here after busy days in the city. the view from the balcony is super cool (also nice to have the balcony to hang clothes or towels to dry). A very cool coffee place / bar right next door too! While Shibuya is a busy neighbourhood, this place is quiet at night and very restful. The owners reply to messages quickly, check in was super easy, the whole experience was ideal. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at this property. It was very close walking distance to the shibuya station and all the shopping and food we needed without having to travel for long periods of time. Will definitely stay here again!!

The apartment was very worn down and dirty, especially the bathroom. I complained immediately, but it took five days before someone came to clean the bathroom. The apartment was also very poorly furnished. There were far too many large pieces of furniture in the living room/kitchen area, making it feel cramped and impractical. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend renting this apartment.

We did not get check-in instructions until 40 minutes after check-in, but other than that, the property was extremely clean and well-kept, and the area is a very short walk away from Shibuya Crossing and all of its stores.

Pleasant stay at Salon Shibuya

Great location, easy access to convenient stores and many restaurants around. Clean flat with facilities enough for our stay. This is our first stay at a non-hotel setting. Not sure if it is my responsibility to purchase enough toilet rolls and paper towels.

Apartment was clean, comfortable slippers provided, and the (washer/dryer combination) laundry machine allowed us to do a load before moving on to our next destination. Didn't get to use any kitchen amenities, but seemed well stocked. Disappointed only by no wifi login information provided and the host offering in a message exchange that we could store luggage downstairs in the lobby after checkout/before heading to the train station while we visited Shibuya Sky Tower (in lieu of a later checkout time), but never responded to a follow-up message I sent about the logistics of it. Unlocked closet had space for us to leave all our bags, kind offer and great idea, but the host did not answer my question about keeping the lockbox key to let ourselves back into just the building and not the unit to retrieve our belongings 2 hours after checkout time. Makes sense for security purposes not to allow us that special privilege, but would have been nice to get a personalized message back instead of the default checkout reminder.

Great location! Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of quaint restaurants, bars, and convenient stores. Walking distance to shopping and Shibuya train and crossing (6-10 min). There were 4 beds (3 twin, 1 full) and 2 kids stayed in the bedroom and parents took the 2 beds in the main room. It was great to have a kitchenette and a washer/dryer. Tip for W/D combo..very small load of clothes if you want dry clothes, otherwise another dry cycle, but it’s common for these combo W/D. Would stay here again with my family of 4!

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was a good size for three of us. The location is great. Nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, just past the most hectic part of Shibuya. I think the price was a value. Would definitely stay here again. I received check-in instructions in advance of my arrival, so that was no issue as others had experienced. However I didn't get a response when I asked in advance if a slightly earlier check-in would be possible. This didn't end up being an issue with flight delays, but it doesn't seem like the owners are active in responding to custom queries.

The communication is non-existent despite numerous messages. The check-in instruction comes at 5pm which is one hour after 4pm (their preferred check in time) - which makes it 3 hours later than most hotels

The reason a give a 3 is because as many reviewers said, I was supposed to check in at 4pm I arrived with my family at 3pm and still at the airport I was waiting for them to send me the check in we were supposed to fill out for the government with our passports required by the government if you don’t fill out that document check in canyget through, I was calling them to ask several times about sending me that at the airport and my prepaid airport taxi was right there waiting for us I was really stressed out because the least you want overseas without knowing the language is not to be able to go where you are supposed to go what I did was to go to the basic front of the building address I had and in the middle of my path about 5pm right before arrival they sent the instructions, extremely unprofessional I think they are seniors not sure, but must say if you keep ahead of time asking for that to be sent 24 hours before as they should then problem solve , because I’m going to be honest the location within walking distance of shibuya scramble is a 10 out 10 so if you are patient willing to wait at the airport lol you will be fine, the beds are not the best and they have a few pillows blankets were clean and they provide towels washing machine and full kitchen a good fridge and 2 bedroom with 4 beds in total AC is good too.hope this help

Was worried about an apartment stay for our first visit but everything was awesome. Great area. Quiet at night. Tons of local shops and 10 minute walk to the Shibuya Scramble and all of its wonderful stores and restaurants. Place had enough room for our family of 4. Nice shower/bath. Clean bathroom. Full sized fridge to load up on water (went during 95 degree plus weather). Bonus washer/dryer combo. It does work but it takes its time. I gave 4 for cleanliness just due to the dust blobs in the filters in the bathroom. Hate looking up and seeing dust a few inches from my head. Bonus pocket wifi was a great touch. We loved this area. So close to the action in Shibuya. With close by 7/11, Lawsons, and Family Mart for quick eats. Word of advice if your first time in Japan. We decided to take private service from Narita to here. If we would have had to figure out the subway system then trek from Shibuya station with our bags in tow at 11pm at night we would have just slept in the street. Being dropped off right in front was huge. Would stay here again without reservation. Great for families. If you’re a group of party types you may want to look elsewhere. Signs asking for quiet and 1 person per bed only and no parties allowed.
