Many issues with my stay despite the wonderful location.
1. Booked 2 rooms with 2 adults and 2 kids and they put us on different floors. Night manager was not apologetic at all and stated that they cannot guarantee rooms on the same floor. Only 2 rooms and you do not have the ability to arrange them on the same floor? If you can't, perhaps u need to upgrade your room management system.
2. I asked if they have a map showing the various parking around the hotel as hotel don't provide parking and they came out with a map that does not show the streets but only the various attraction. Quite unthinkable that i am the first guest asking about parking around the hotel.
3. The water in the room take around 10-15s before it becomes warm. As this day and age and in Japan where everyone is concerned about conservation of resources, this is quite unacceptable.
4. No coffee provided in the room, and the amenities desk on the ground floor also not available until the last of my 3 days stay.
5. Asked if i could get a late checkout despite all the inconvenience and they were not interested. Maybe getting a robot to run the hotel based on simple rules and algorithm will be more efficient. I suppose the hotel is not interested in providing services so that their guests are satisfied.
Anyway, will not rebook at this chain again, bad experience.
