The staff at check in were very welcoming and helpful. The room was exactly as described. Though smaller than any other on our trip, it was workable with two people with 2 larger and 2 smaller suitcases. The breakfast buffet was ok but definitely the worst of all the places we stayed. It lacked daily variety and I found the choices limited. I wish there had been more selection of fruit than just orange and pineapple. The room was clean and the bathroom was fairly large. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were not. Very hard and lumpy.
The location was pretty good and very walkable. The closest subway station was convenient but didn’t seem to be on a direct line to most places we wanted to go which meant changing trains at a different station or walking 10 min to the Ginza station. When we arrived at Tokyo station we took a local train to get us close to the hotel but we still had to walk with our bags. On the way back, we just flagged a cab and spent 800¥ to get to the exact Tokyo station entrance we needed. Money well spent. In all, a fine hotel to stay and explore Ginza.
