EAGLE VIEW HOUSE: Perched high on a hill, Eagle View House has stunning panoramic views stretching from Bedwell Glacier over Lemmins Inlet through the old growth forests of Meares Island, Clayoquot Sound and Tofino Harbor—you can see all the way to open ocean! The house was custom designed by the award-winning architect George Morrow. Located a short walk away from the many art galleries, restaurants and shops of Tofino. This house offers a unique accommodation experience. Lovely local beaches, kayaking, surfboard, wetsuit & boogie board rentals and whale watching are just down the hill. The view is fabulous, yet the location is quiet, private and you feel like you're a world away. In addition to the house being on Tofino's doorstep, Chesterman Beach is a five-minute drive away. Please note to get to Eagle View House's stunning views, there is a long steep driveway.

Eagle View House is versatile; ideal for a couple on a romantic getaway, the master bedroom offers a stunning view, and your own full bathroom with shower/tub combo. If you're travelling with family or friends, the second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with a single up top and full size bed below. The main bathroom also has a shower. The living dining area has an open concept flow with views from every part of the house. There is a piano in the living area for guest to enjoy. Just off the living area is a large deck equip with a BBQ and hot tub.

Please be aware that Tofino bylaws require all vacation rentals to have an onsite tenant or renter to operate as a short-term rental. This regulation helps support housing availability for the local community. In accordance with these bylaws, a long-term tenant resides in a separate caretaker suite on the property. While you will share the driveway, you will have full access to the vacation rental side.
Please note: the master bed has been upgraded to a king bed and is not accurate to the current pictures.
Please note: The driveway is extremely steep and may be challenging for those with mobility issues to walk up. During the winter snow tires are required to drive up the driveway(if snowing or icy)

Host Rules:
Renter's Agreement: Guests must sign the Renter's Agreement to confirm their reservation.

Age min: must be 25 years or older to book.

Guest Limit: As per Tofino Bylaws, a maximum of 6 guests (including babies and children) are allowed. If a reservation exceeds this limit, we reserve the right to ask the guests to leave.

During peak summer season (June 15 - Sept 15), 3 night minimum and all bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps. If you receive a "host unavailable" message despite seeing availability, please contact us. Our booking system has specific rules and may require manual adjustments.

3 night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays.

We offer discounted rates on month long stay ONLY during our low season (Dec-Feb).

Pet Policy: Only 2 dogs max after owner approval. Sorry no cats allowed!

Strict Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am - please be respectful of the neighbours and locals!

Cancellation Policy: We offer a 30 day cancellation policy. If you provide us with the 30 days required notice you will receive a full refund. If you cancel without the required days notice you will not receive a refund for your reservation.

Accidental Damage Protection: Accidental Damage Protection is included in the total cost of your reservation—there is no additional fee after booking, as it is automatically applied at the time of purchase. This coverage protects against accidental damages up to $1,000 that may occur during your stay.
Please note: This protection does not apply to damages caused by parties, unauthorized events, or negligent behaviour. It is strictly intended for unintentional mishaps that may happen while you're staying in the home.

Incredible view

We visited with our adult children and their partners. The view is fantastic. The two bathrooms are upgraded and very nice. The kitchen is good, the living room is comfortable. The driveway is very steep, hence the view. Confirm the parking arrangements beforehand, as there is a permanent tenant in an attached suite that parks there too.

Beautiful property, we really enjoyed the location. Terrific views and perfect little walk to Tonquin Park, 5km to Third Beach. Highly recommend Eagle View House, we will definitely stay here again.

Awesome house with a fantastic view

The place is spacious, new looking, stylish, well equipped, even with a NACS charger!! There is a jacuzzi on a nice patio, as well as a couple of split air con units. This is all awesome!! I would recommend the place. The ares for improvement and to watch out for is the driveway, which as of 2024 July is very rough and broken up with thorny bushrs, steep bendy and long, which contributed to one of our cars front bottom's damage. The dishwasher should be secured as it can fall out if both drawers are loaded and pulled out. The tab and the sink in the main bedroom don't drain properly making the tub for example be filling up during a shower making you stand in dirty water up to your ankles. One of the closets in the other bedroom had missing doors Some closet shelfs were not dusted

Needs some TLC

The view is just beautiful. The house itself needs work done to it. Upon entering, there are massive cobwebs in the vestibule which could easily be cleaned up. It was not thoroughly cleaned; there was hair in the shower corners, dead bugs smashed onto both bathroom ceilings, the couch hasn’t been moved in some time to sweep under, and the windows were so dirty with children’s handprints, dog noses and just buildup. I think the owner needs to stop in for a stay. There are maintenance issues like the towel rails in the bathroom hanging on by a thread. How the maid can hang the towel over it and not notice it’s about to fall off is beyond me. Not to mention the shower door handle did actually fall off. There is black mold in the main shower, that’s just gross. Again how someone could “clean” this bathroom and not report back to the rental property is strange, unless they do and nothing is done to fix the situation. The deck needs a paint job, and try to get that hot tub cover back on by yourself!! For the price, these are issues I would want fixed before renting. So many things could be beautiful in this house with a bit of attention and a good clean.

Amazing View & Beautiful Home

Unreal views all over the home! The communication and coordination with the manager was easy, and they were very helpful. Very clean home, with plenty of space and a very roomy fully equipped kitchen. We can’t wait to come again!

Cozy house! Beautiful views. Beds were very comfortable, showers were great. Driveway is steep with blind curves so plan on that if going out for a run, etc. Very nice to have a couple mornings worth of coffee provided- thank you for that.

Room with a VIew

House was in a great location. Quiet but still close to everything you need in town. Really nice bathrooms. The view is what makes this house so special. The property manager from Tofino rentals was very attentive, helpful, and polite. She made our stay perfect!

Spectacular Views

This property has it all - spectacular views, beautiful interior, fully equipped , walking distance to town and outstanding communications. We have stayed at several properties and this is one of our favorites. Would definitely come back. Thank you!

sky high beauty

A breathtaking view from the moment walking in the door. Even after dark the cheer remained with the beautiful lights outside. Property management was a 10. The decorated tree was an unexpected touch we really enjoyed. A short walk to town but the driveway is crazy steep. Enough so, that some may not enjoy the walking challenge. We did not use the hot tub but it looked very clean and well serviced (watch the deck in winter - slippery!) Room for everyone to spread out and the beds were so comfortable. Very quiet, peaceful area with ever changing views and colors over the water and mountains. We would definitely stay again.
