FAMILY FRIENDLY weekend getaway on the Yorke Peninsula

A renovated 3 bedroom home with everything you need!

Only 1.5 hours from Adelaide, this split level home is a short walk, and even shorter drive from the beach. Located one street back from the beach, you can see the water from the front deck, and watch the sun set over farmland from under the back pergola. With a full functioning kitchen, including a massive gas oven and dishwasher, air conditioning, wood fire, washing machine and roomy lounge to relax on, this is your home away from home. The King size bed in the spacious Master Bedroom gives a sense of luxury, with the 2nd bedroom having a Queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom having 2 single beds (and 2 trundle beds) for the kids. Ample room in the backyard for the kids to run around and play, and the adults can relax by the fire pit at night. Head to Ardrossan to walk the jetty, find a playground or just relax with a coffee at Wilmas on the Yorke cafe. Ardrossan also has takeaway food options, IGA supermarket and Bottleshop, just a 5 minute drive away.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The house was filled with light and had beautiful modern decor. It was very clean. We felt very comfortable. There’s a huge gas stove suitable for cooking for a family. We really enjoyed the king size bed and the back yard was great for our Cavoodle to roam safely. All in all it was 10 out of 10 for everything.

We enjoyed our stay here and the position was perfect as it allowed us to travel and fish on the other side of the peninsula due to the extremely windy conditions during our stay.The house was very comfortable and the inclusion of all linen was an added bonus. All our queries with the host were answered immediately and we would definitely stay again.

This was a lovely neat and tidy little holiday home. We loved it and was perfect to take the dog along too. Communication with Scott was detailed and easy and the location was great with a view of the water plus close access to Ardrossan for any needs.

Lovely spot

Really comfortable holiday house. Lovely location, nice and quiet. Maybe get rid of the outdoor toys, some are broken and it reaĺly makes the outdoor area look messy. Such an idyllic spot. We highly recommend it

Tiddy Widdy Beach

Lovely house . No wifi but well equipped otherwise. Great for families especially with young children but don’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues. We couldn’t enjoy the back garden as two of us couldn’t use steps at back door. No access otherwise

Neat and tidy

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless and had everything we needed, right down to the small touches like toothpaste and laundry conditioner. It’s clear the host has thought of everything. The area was quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to relax and recharge. Big thanks to the host for such a comfortable and welcoming stay—we’d definitely come back.

Perfect spot

A wonderful house and amenities, exceeding our expectations. The back yard is a great size and the beds are really comfortable. The Directions on the welcome email is a bit backwards. Your have to turn Left onto Murray Road, then Right onto Hoskin Road, not the otherway around!

Easter Bowls Tournament

Once again we stayed at Tiddy Widdy for the Ardrossan Bowls Club Easter Four day tournament.While the weather was inclement, we still enjoyed ourselves staying in this very comfortable and well equipped house. Only a five minute drive into Ardrossan the property is very convenient.

Very nice place to relax and chillout. Comfortable and well kept. Our only issue was no wi-fi, and no smart tv, but overall, very good for the price.
