The Golden Fleece Hotel, Thirsk, North Yorkshire
Our stay at the Golden Fleece was great! Easy check-in, lovely room. Food in the evening was great but we didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Easy walkable distance to James Herriot’s house. Parking very easy and felt secure! All in all very nice.

DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa
The spa area was very good.staff were very helpful. Don't like paying so much for parking.room was okay bit small but for one night it was okay

Cairn Hotel
The staff was really nice and always willing to help. The hotel was antique and some stances could be refurbished although it also has the beauty of that age.

The little cottage was cute amd nice. Emma the host was very reachable and checked on us during our stay. The only issues we had was there were lady bird beetles and spiders everywhere. The property is excellent for a one night stay. Only negative is there is nowhere to sit and eat your breakfast.
