"Last minute booking for us (having messed up booking a different place). Absolute bargain and a great place to stay. Parking was easy, just outside, and free too. We had a disabled badge, but were offered a parking disc when we arrived. Room was lovely, facing the street, but that wasnt a problem as it was quiet in the main. "I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. "
