## Neighborhood

The Kaag Resort recreation apartments are located right beside the river Leede. This river is an open waterway to the Kaag Lakes, the Braassemmer Lake and the city centre of Leiden. The perfect location to take a tour by boat on Saturdays across the culinary market or pay a visit to one of the cosy little restaurants on the water.

The surroundings offer a wealth of recreation possibilities. The golf course is within walking distance and the same applies to the sauna, tennis courts, sports school, restaurants, supermarket and the centre of Warmond. The Warmonder forest is just opposite the resort. You can easily reach the beach for a nice walk with a fresh sea breeze.

This central location ensures that all possibilities are within reach. Cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leden, Delft and The Hague can be reached within 30min by car!

Near Kaag Resort, there is a charming marina, a railway line, and an air traffic zone. Additionally, boats frequently navigate the nearby rivers and lakes, enhancing the picturesque character of the region. While the location offers beautiful views and convenient access to transportation, it may also come with some noise from passing trains, overhead airplanes, and watercraft traffic.

## Transit

You will be able to explore Warmond and its surroundings on foot or by using the public buses. Regional buses and trains will get you to the surrounding towns and cities, but if you really want to explore the general area, a (hire) car will make your life easier.

FeWo direkt am Kanal

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr geräumig und der Blick auf den Kanal ist toll, da tagsüber quasi ständig Boote vorbei fahren. Übrigens kann man nur wenige Meter entfernt selbst ein E-Boot ausleihen - ohne Fahrerlaubnis. Gleich gegenüber ist eine viel befahrene Bahnlinie und die FeWo liegt in der Einflugschneise vom Flughafen Schiphol. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern hört man den Lärm aber nicht. Gemäß Hausordnung gilt eine Ruhezeit zw. 22 und 8 Uhr. Leider hat sich eine Familie mit kleinen Kindern direkt neben uns nicht daran gehalten... Insgesamt aber sehr schöner Urlaub. Werden wieder in die Niederlande reisen. PS: Bei Gelegenheit vielleicht mal den Toaster austauschen, der sah nicht mehr so gut aus.

Lovely Holiday

The apartment was beautiful, very clean and had everything needed for a family holiday. The view from the balcony was stunning. We loved the area and had great days out in Leiden, Amsterdam and Rotterdam which were all easy to get to. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to go back in the future. A couple of things weren't quite right on the listing (No oven, just a microwave and no half bath) and the property is right next to a busy train line which didn't bother us at all but might not suit everyone. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Sehr schönes Apartment mit wunderschönen Ausblick

Der Check-In und Check-Out verlief reibungslos. Die Ansprechpartnerin stand immer zur Verfügung. Die Lage ist super, der Ausblick auf den Hafen und die Boote, welche täglich vorbei fahren, ist wunderschön!
