In one of the oldest, most lovely cities in the Netherlands, close to museums, tulip fields, beaches and 4 of the largest cities in the Netherlands we are very pleased to host you at our maisonette getaway - complete - for up to 5 persons !

Welcome to the 'Hoge Mors', a neighborhood in the beautiful and historic city of Leiden! You will stay in an apartment close to the center of Leiden- either of the two elevators will bring you there! There are perfect public transport connections to all interesting places in the Randstad, including a bus stop in front of the building that takes you right to Leiden Central Station, the historic downtown, and more – within minutes. Public transport bicycles are available at Leiden Central - book via the website of www.ns.nl.
This spacious apartment, built in 1979, offers you all the comfort you could want. There is also an east-facing balcony with plenty of sun from early in the morning until the end of the afternoon, with an awning for shade if the sun is too much but you still want enjoy the balcony.
In this tastefully furnished apartment, you will find everything you need for an unforgettable and comfortable stay in Leiden. The bedrooms have wonderful hotel beds with great mattresses, ample blankets, new pillows, and various places for luggage storage. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishware, pots and pans, strainer, corkscrew, cutlery, cooking knives, and basic cooking supplies (including salt, pepper, oil).
The apartment is located in a friendly, family-oriented and quiet neighbourhood. Below the apartment is a shopping center for all daily shopping needs including two grocery stores, a bakery, a fresh-produce grocer, pharmacy, and traditional Dutch fish truck!
The city center of Leiden is renowned worldwide for its valuable historical sights and its museums of international allure. All the opulence of Leiden is within reach.
You will be staying at a fifteen-minute walk (or five minutes by bike or bus) from a train station with direct connections to Amsterdam and Rotterdam (35 minutes) or to The Hague and Schiphol (15 minutes). You can reach the North Sea beach in half an hour by bus or bicycle, and within 15 minutes by car.
Your kids will love to spend a day at the themepark DUINRELL, and the CORPUS and NATURALIS museums.

Services

• All areas are openly accessible. Unfortunately, the apartment is not adapted for wheelchair users, nor toddlers.
No animals This house is light and spacious and consists of two floors. The interior style is 1950’s 'Boho chic'. All equipment is modern. The house is well insulated and quickly heated. For the summer there are fans in the living room and in the bedrooms. The windows are double glazed, which guarantees a quiet environment.
On the upper floor there are three bedrooms, two with double beds which can be separated if necessary. The smaller room has a novelty 'Volkswagen bed' with an adult size of 90x200 centimeters.
The separate kitchen is complete and neatly furnished with a dishwasher, oven, and cooking hob. Next to the kitchen you will find a separate room with a stacked washing machine and dryer.
The atmosphere in the house is very relaxed and cozy. This location is the perfect base for trips to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, the beach, the tulip fields, or wherever you want to travel!
Craving some time at home? The balcony is wonderfully sunny and inside there is a fast WiFi connection in all rooms. The television is equipped with Google Chromecast. Feel like a jaunt downtown? The bus stop is almost in front of the door and the bus will take you to the center of Leiden in five minutes.
Parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. Paid parking applies from Monday to Friday (between 09:00 and 19:30). The hourly rate is €2.80 with a maximum daily rate of €25.00. Parking is free on Saturday and Sunday.
In the shopping center below the apartment, you will find a nice fish truck, the supermarkets Aldi and Jumbo, drugstore Trekpleister, a pet shop, a Primera, a bakery and a snack bar.
The city center of Leiden is quickly and easily accessible. All of Leiden's hot spots are located in the city centre. For example, you can walk along the places where Rembrandt lived and worked, or past the imposing university buildings and churches, the Leiden Hortus Botanicus, and much more. Authentic canals, nice shops, special museums and many cafes and restaurants define the image of the center of Leiden.
Leiden is located in the middle of the Randstad conurbation, which means that other major cities (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht) are a maximum of 35 minutes away. The North Sea coast is nine kilometers from Leiden. The tulip bulb region starts about five kilometers away. Would you rather spend a day sailing? The harbor in Warmond is only ten minutes away.
The host is not present during your stay but is readily available for communication anytime you need it. You have the house all to yourself.
Safety: a smoke detector, fire extinguisher and first aid kit are available.

• Communicate directly with us through the site. When communicating with the site, always use the number of the apartment.
• You use a Personal INCheCK. You can make an appointment to receive the keys between 06:00 and 22:00. One day before your planned arrival, you will receive all instructions by e-mail.
• It is NOT possible to leave luggage and collect it later. If you still want to leave luggage, you can use the lockers at Leiden Central Station.
• On the day of departure you must be checked out no later than 11:00 am.
