"Having lived near the Watermill Premier Inn during my younger years, I thought I'd enjoy the stay during a recent visit back home from the USA. Unfortunately, the Pub and Hotel has declined and are both in need of some desperate attention. The Hotel needs a makeover, with new paint and room accessories. Air Conditioning would be a benefit along with in room refrigerators and coffee makers. Outside, landscaping and decor could also use some work. Overgrown shrubs, lawns and trees are not a...

"I had a great stay! The hotel was very clean and in a fantastic location, making it easy to get around. The staff were incredibly helpful, and everyone in the restaurant was especially lovely and welcoming. It was also great to have the option of on-site parking. Would definitely stay here again."

"The linen was very fresh and clean smelling, owner very pleasant. The property is undergoing refurbishment, hence the low price. TV didnt work and fridge needed a clean, the loo brush was source of nasty smell. "

"The Ilfracombe is a little olde worlde but very comfortable and quiet. The beds are comfortable, the rooms clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast served in their quaint breakfast room is absolutely superb and set us up well for a long day's walking in the sea air! "

"The room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable, although the room was small, and if you ended up stuck inside, you’d quickly become claustrophobic. Likewise, the picture used to advertise the hotel is not a picture of any public or restaurant space in the hotel building, but a picture of the pub/restaurant 150 feet away. "Great stay overall. There was plenty to do around Rochester, making it a great location. The only downside was that our room was close to the train station, so it could be a little noisy at times. However, the receptionist was attentive, friendly, and polite, which made us feel very welcome. I would definitely stay here again."

"Very pleasant room in pub /hotel in centre of town with fast wifi and all amenities. Cooked breakfast also included -although quite a short time for breakfast - between 8.30 and 10 on a Saturday. But breakfast was fine."
