"Pictures are very deceiving. The pool was much smaller than pictured, had a film on top of it and smelled. I would not let our kids go in it. The mini fridge had mold in it, sheets had stains, the bathroom had hair in it. We ended up just leaving and checking into a Hampton inn down the road. I’m not even that picky and have never left a hotel before but this one was awful."

"I loved the property it was both classy and had ritz. Surprisingly the hotel was built in 2002 but presents as a hotel built in the early 1900’s. The staff was excellent and courteous. There was a library in which to sit and relax or have a bourbon. Would highly recommend and will return."

"check in was tough. stood in the unattended lobby for almost 20 minutes before dialing the front desk on my cell to get someone to come check us in. and then the room was incredibly musty which was hard to sleep in. Pretty sure the room had flooded in the recent history. Not a great stay."

"Visible of poor maintenance and upkeep. The a/c unit needs maitenance, room smelled of smoke and alcohol, and the bedding smelled. We were tired and just kept the reservation but did not shower due to the linens and uncleaniness."
