The Kaseki breakfast (if you like that albeit, western breakfast looked decent too) to winding down with a meditation bell and a leaflet to help you relax before bed. "My husband and I are 23F and 24M from the States. We loved our stay here! Beds were very comfortable, foot bath was amazing, and everything was very clean and nice. It was great having a washing machine, dishes, and many toiletries that most places don’t offer. Also, the host held our luggage after checkout since there was not anyone checking in that evening I assume, which was very nice! Not a big issue, but one thing I would recommend is adding another mirror. Maybe a full length one or one...

"We loved the free drinks and snacks in the evening. The breakfast is healthy and locally-sourced. The Shirakawa River beside the hotel is pretty. The soba and sushi restaurants beside the hotel are excellent. It’s close to Meiji jingu and a Tsutaya bookstore which feels peaceful."
