Lage: 200m von der Station Bayswater entfernt, die nächste Station ist 400m entfernt. Gute Pubs in der Nähe, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten usw. Wirklich eine tolle Gegend um seinen Londonurlaub zu starten.
Hotel: komplett in die Jahre gekommen, letzte Renovierung wahrscheinlich in den 80gern, Betten ok, keine Klimaanlage. Hatten ein Zimmer nach hinten raus, da ging bist ca. 22:30h die Lüftung des untenliegenden Restaurants. Mir ist bewusst, dass die Hotels in London fast alle in die Jahre gekommen sind ... aber das war wirklich eine "Herausforderung".
Das Bad war zweckmässig - wer den guten alten Duschvorhang vermisst fühlt sich hier heimisch.
Frühstück: Wer sich auch ein typisches britisches Frühstück freut wird leider mehr als enttäuscht. Das Frühstück wird bei einem malayischen Restaurant eingenommen. Neben Schokobrötchen gab es Toast. Dazu gab es eine Menge an asiatschen Frühstücksdingen. Wer also auf Suppe, Glasnudeln und Hühnerflügeln zum Frühstück steht hat hier sein Paradies gefunden - wer dieses nicht bevorzugt hat leider verloren.
