"We stayed over two nights as we visited the nearby Illinois Beach State Park. The accommodations were great and staff was very responsive. One feature to note - we stayed in the 2 King one-bedroom suite (which is advertised to accommodate 6 adult guests). The door between the bedroom and main room is really a window. There is no privacy between the two rooms. Ordinarily, a room like this has a solid door, which gives a family a second space to change, have a break from one another, etc. My...

"I stayed for a couple of nights last month (July 2025). This is a great place to stay. Conveniently located, in a very nice part of suburban Chicago. The staff is super friendly and strive to take care of you. The room I stayed in was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is good, typical for most places like this, but hot, fresh and good quality. I will absolutely stay here again when in the area."

"Our stay was wonderful. The lodge smelled amazing, the staff was very friendly, and helpful. It was also very close to restaurants and Six Flags Great America, which was literally 4 minutes away. Overall we have amazing stay, and will definitely come back again! "

"Very quick check in.Room very clean and comfortable, people very friendly and helpful.Outside if hotel could use someTLC,but we had a great time.The beach so close to hotel and nice walking trails in the state park."

"I went to my son celebration at the Navy recruit in Great Lakes. The drive from the hotel to the location was less than10 minutes, with out the ceremony traffic. This hotel is very peaceful with plenty parking. I enjoyed and would recommend this hotel to families that will be attending their child's Navy Ceremony. "

"I love how convenient it was. I loved the free breakfast. The room was okay, but the walls were very thin so it made it hard to try to sleep because of the noise. I also found old receipts behind one of the chairs in the room so that made me realize that they do not clean that good. Overall, the breakfast and pool were my favorite part of my stay. I would recommend and stay here again. "

"Front desk was very warm and welcoming. Everyone on site was courteous and polite. Room was clean and had everything you could possibly need. The onsite store is exactly what the sign says "everything you need & nothing you don't" Slept great and really enjoyed the stay. "

"My wife and I stayed there in Chicago to watch our son's Navy Graduation. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room were clean with mini fridge and microwave. Hotel has pool and Gym. Plenty of restaurants near by."
