"Friendly staff, room was clean however the parking was very expensive"

"Our room had a smell in it coming from either the bathroom drainage system or left over from a smelly mop. Otherwise the room was great! When we arrived back from our theatre trip, two of us wanted a coffee in the bar when the other two had a nightcap, only to be told the coffee machine had been cleaned so we couldn’t have coffee. Utterly ridiculous for a city centre hotel looking to attract travellers from all around the globe. The bar was open so I don’t understand this policy. "

"Hotel was lovely, clean and had an excellent bar area which served great bar food. Breakfast in the morning had a really large selection to choose from and was also really good. Staff were all really nice and chilled but also really helpful if needed. "This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Glasgow! The room was big and spacious with a comfy bed! The hotel is modern and has a real boujee feel about it. The spa and wellbeing was a little disappointing: it had a big sauna and 3 hot beds, the plunge pool was out if order but there was nothing else or anywhere to go. "Lovely overnight stay at The Wellington whilst attending a retirement party in an establishment on nearby Bothwell Street..We were allocated a lovely room on the 3rd floor. Room was very modern and welcoming with everything you would expect and require in a hotel of this standard. Didn't spend a great deal of time actually in the room due to party but have to say the bed was exceptionally comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep.
