"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. "Great pub just outside of Penzance - would recommend"

"Overall our room is excellent with the harbor view from the room window. A minor point, the water vessel in the Nespresso Coffee machine was leaking. It will be nice for the staff to check before guests arrival, we didn't use it in the end but reported it. It is a shame but I can always get a good coffee from the cafe near by."

"This pub was a great stop for us following a day of walking the SWCP. Very peaceful even though it is a pub. It is approximately 1 mile from Perranunthnoe, and SWCP. Bus 2 runs from right outside so ideal for connections to Penzance and Porthleven. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely return."
