Good points. Cheap and a great location for tours to Milford Sound. Bad points (I stayed in a single room) Walls are like paper. Can hear everything in adjacent rooms and guest talking, moving, walking down hallway. Should have researched better but there you go. Was very exhausted after 3 nights ...

Demanded we pay cash despite Expedia saying Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Had to make a trip into town to withdraw cash! Not acceptable in this day and age. The house was old and extremely tired with lights not working and dripping taps in bathrooms. The kitchen cupboards were old and could have been improved with a coat of paint and liners. On the plus side it had clean carpets, clean and comfy beds, a new fridge and good heating.
