"Very spacious and comfortable accommodation in good location "

"Easy parking outside the unit. The unit was spacious and comfortable. Full kitchen for meal prep if you want. A bit of a walk into town but easy to do and takes about 20 minutes. Great place to stay."

"We loved this property due to its uniqueness and historical perspective. We especially loved the fireplace, the seating around the fire, and the extra’s provided for our stay. "La cama es cómoda y tiene esterillas eléctricas. Esperábamos encontar una habitación en mucho peor estado, pero nos sorprendió, aunque lis muebles son antiguos , todo está muy limpio. El personal es amable y no está a mucha distancia del centro. La única pega es que cierra a las 20h la recepción.... También hay que pensar que a partir de esta hora poco queda abierto en el pueblo."

"basic property but good to use as a base if you have your own transport. Furniture in disrepair and some lights not working throughout the property and no bbq due to previous customers destroying it. However host was easy to contact regarding any issues and prepared to help as best they could. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the Empire. The bar girl and our waitress in the dining room were so helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfy although one side of the electric blanket didn’t work. The creaky floor added character to the building. The entrance with its beautiful staircase and furniture was so beautiful . Thoroughly enjoyed our meal in the dining room and our breakfast the next morning. Would recommend this hotel to our friends.😊. "

"After a strange (as in no prior details emailed to us) solitary check-in we acclimatised quickly to the comfortable, well equipped and clean property. Our misgivings about the curious land around the house were soon dismissed. The wet, windy and stormy weather did not help. But it was winter after all. The long desolate driveway and the old homewares around the nearby garage were a bit disconcerting. All in all we were comfortable and well located to the main town and its off-season services....

"Accommodation was separate from the Hotel. Room and facilities very clean, catered for all my needs e.g. self-contained kitchen, bathroom, TV, comfortable bed, safe and secure car bay. Hotel decor was very homely and provided high quality meals. Staff very hospitably. Neighbouring towns and places of interest easy access by car."
