Everything from time of booking to departure has been nothing short of fantastic. The cottage is amazing, everything has been so thought thru; furnishings, homewares, decor. Can’t fault anything. All this cottage says it is, it actually is, and more. Our family and fur kid had a wonderful time, we loved the cottage, the history of the cottage, the cows and grounds. Libby the host was wonderful to correspond with and went above and beyond. 10/10. We needed this holiday as a family and it did not disappoint. We look forward to stay here again the future. PS to anyone who stays here, you won’t want to leave!

Murphy’s is exceptional. Unlike Murphy’s law .. everything about this place works just right! We reached the house after a long drive & it was love at 1st sight. Easy check in: Open the door & you’re quite literally in a country spa retreat. The cottage itself is surprisingly spacious, modern & everything has been so well thought out. Even down to the sensor lights outside lighting up the whole yard for people & dogs alike at night. The bathroom is thoroughly Devine!This was the most perfect Mother/Daughter/doggo retreat. Lily (doggo) absolutely went mad for the huge fully fenced mowed yard.. went into full zoomie mode as soon as she jumped out of the car! With so many seating options inside & out. A fire pit, combustion heater & gorgeous chefs kitchen. This place has everything you could possibly ask for & more. Little extras like fresh local milk & cheese, coffee, tea etc to cute slippers & natural bathroom products to fire proof gloves, marshmallows & plenty of firewood. You want for nothing. We got there, settled in & just completely relaxed. There’s much to see & do just on the property itself. Watching the ever changing scenery, the surrounding hills, shy cows & stargazing were time consuming. The sunrises each morning were definitely worth waking up for. I cannot praise this place enough. The Murphy family have done an amazing job renovating & turning this into a superbly comfortable, peaceful retreat. Cannot recommend highly enough. Will be back.

Impressive views, beautifully renovated cottage, comfy beds, separate shower ideal for elderly, secure fence for dogs, brilliant location for exploring the scenic rim. Highly recommend for a getaway.

Incredible home and hospitality and view!

Honestly one of our best holidays ever. Libby and Cameron have made this home so beautiful that we didn't want to leave. From the treats left for us upon arrival to the marshmallows by the outside pit fire. The deck with views of cows each and every day wandering the fields. We used the time to mountain bike and fish in the nearby dam and just relaxed and chilled out. Beds super comfy. Monster bath gorgeous and used many times by all! Everything you need is in this home for your holiday - only 20 mins from Beaudesert for groceries. Libby was so attentive to anything we needed too. We will 100% be returning guests for sure. Even our dog Louie loved his time there running around the large grassy fenced in area. Thankyou Libby and Cameron for one of our most memorable and lovely family holidays!

Great stay!

This property is amazing and is even better than pictured. This is probably the best setup of accommodation that we've ever stayed in, it had absolutely everything we needed and more, so many nice little touches that made our stay great. We had a very relaxing time and it was also awesome to have our dog stay with us as well.

As a group of 6 we loved our stay at Murphys cottage. It was beautifully presented and I have never stayed anywhere so well equipped. Everything you can think of is provided. Communication from Libby was excellent. A stunning view from the back deck and amazing sunsets. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Wonderful

The Murphys Cottage is beautiful, with loads of country charm and all the comforts of home. Spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished, comfy beds, fluffy towels and thoughtful treats just add to the experience. You can literally walk a country mile and enjoy the views and fresh air. Or sit by an open fire with a drink and toast marshmallows (a thoughtful treat supplied by the Murphys). Everything about our stay was perfect and we can’t wait to visit again. Thank you.

We had a relaxing stay in this charming cottage. It is well maintained and has a beautiful outlook over the surrounding dairy paddocks. A peaceful place to relax and explore the surrounding area.

Idyllic Location to Relax and Rejuvenate

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay. The cottage has been beautifully renovated and is super well equipped. We spent most of our time reading on the verandah and looking out at the stunning view. Good location with local shop and Rathdowney just a short drive away. We were also able to bring along our dogs which is a huge bonus for us. Loved every minute, we will definitely be back.
