Cute Place

Very cute little house, easy access, and inside of the home was very clean. Owner was great at communicating. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because in the photo there was a trundle bed with a mattress. I chose this property for that reason for my 2 children. There was no mattress on the trundle and the trundle drawer was broken as well. So one of my kids had to sleep on the couch during our 2 night stay. There was also a driveway on the side of the home that the owner uses and there was a minivan lifted on a jack with the engine and car parts on the ground in the driveway the whole time we were there. This is a safety hazard when you have kids staying on your property. I would have given 5 stars had these issues not been there. If you are booking this property, it is good for only 2-3 people.

Property is well kept. Close to many shops and restaurants. It’s a bit small, but it was cozy and just enough space for my family’s 2 night stay. Would rent again.

Cute place, friendly host

The property is great. We especially loved the green turf in the front yard. Our two dogs loved relaxing on the turf, we could walk barefoot without having to worry about stepping on sandspurs. The house was clean, simple, and cozy. It’s reflective of the standard South Tampa home; smaller sized rooms, decently sized bathroom, good sized kitchen. Great for 1-4 people depending on if you’re a couple, have kids, bring a friend. What’s also cool about the location is that it’s close to Macdill Air Force Base so you get to watch the Air Force jets fly nearby. Last, but not least, the host Ruth is super friendly and accommodating. I 100% recommend staying here.

Not a relaxing trip

Overall, property was nice. Several issues: When checked in we discovered windows in living room and bathroom were unlocked as well as the back door was unlocked. This made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe, considering we were arriving to an unfamiliar area and the sun was setting. Did not sleep well that night. Next morning (trying to sleep in) we were awoken around 8:00 by a banging noise outside the bedroom window. It sounded like construction, not really sure where it was coming from. Went to a concert Friday evening. Got back to the house at 12:30 a.m. Tired and excited to sleep in - that didn’t happen. Host had sent a message that evening letting us know that a new roof was being installed at 7:00 that morning. Needless to say, we were not happy. Expressed our concerns through a reply, then tried to sleep. Finally fell asleep at 3:30 a.m. to be awoken at 7:30 a.m. once again to construction noise, this time, due to the new roof. Slept off and on that morning to be awoken again with a loud constant knocking at front door. It was a bus transportation service looking for someone. At that point, we had enough. We packed up and left a day early. Host offered us two extra nights at no charge due to the inconvenience. That did not fit our schedule because of our work. The host was willing to refund our stay and was apologetic. We simply felt construction should not have ever been scheduled while guest were in the home.

Sister in-law’s birthday

It was an amazing place to stay. I went with my fiancé, sister in-law, and parents in-law, and our dogs! It was perfect for a weekend to celebrate a birthday with our fur babies!

We had stayed here in the past and were so happy it was available again. We have family in Tampa that are only a 5 minute drive from the rental making it so convenient. Hope to stay again on a return visit.

Quick getaway

This was a fantastic property close to the beaches in the Tampa Bay Area. The house was incredibly clean with a lot of great little touches in all the rooms. My daughter was in love with the cozy bedding! A thoughtful design that accommodated four adults and a dog. With great communication! Thank you!!

Perfect for our dogs

We were passing through Tampa and stayed two nights. Perfect sized for us and 2 dogs. We took them to Davis island dog beach while we were there. Cozy bed, hot shower, and great location. Hope we can stay here again!

This single-family property is small yet has everything you need to be comfortable. The host, Ruth, is readily available to answer inquiries. Off-street parking, a well-appointed kitchen, and a modern clean design make this a space I would return to and highly recommend.

Loved my stay

Me, my wife, and 3 small dogs stayed at this location for 2 night's. It is exactly what you see in the photos. I had 3 main requirements for my stay. Privacy, cleanliness, and a feel of home. All were provided. Ruth is a great host, and I'm sure she would have provided anything else we asked for. We would definitely stay again.
