Red Gum Cottage: A home among the gum trees

  • Red Gum Cottage is the perfect location for your getaway to the Gold Coast Hinterland. Nestled in bushland on Tamborine Mountain with views to the coast, this property is just a few minutes to all of the wonderful attractions on the mountain including including rainforest walks, wineries, cafes, restaurants, Thunderbird Park, Cedar Creek and all of the unique shops on the mountain.

    This stunning cottage boasts elegance and the convenience of modern living with high quality furnishings and fittings throughout. The property is ideal for up to six guests for a single night, weekend getaway or longer stay.

    Relax on the large decking and enjoy the bushland views. Enjoy the elegant and comfortable 'Hampton' style decor, modern fully-equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi, smart TV, ducted air-conditioning. There is a lock-up garage for 1 car.

    Check-in is generally from 2:00pm and check-out at 11:00am. However, anytime check-in or check-out is offered when available.

    The property is pet-friendly. However, we ask that your furry friends not be left alone at the property as the yard is not secure. Linen, towels and basic toiletries are supplied (shampoo/conditioner, body wash, soap, hair dryer).

    You will certainly enjoy your stay on Tamborine Mountain in this beautiful home. Breakfast, lunch, dinner or specialty hampers are available by prior arrangement. Please enquire as to options, price and availability. A complimentary bottle of local wine and local fudge are waiting for you on arrival.

Red Gum Cottage was clean and cosy. Karen was very responsive and the cottage had every thing you could possibly require for a lovely weekend away. The bottle of wine and fudge were a lovely touch and appreciated. Highly recommend Red Gum Cottage.

We really enjoyed staying here. The house is very well equipped and absolutely beautiful. Beds are comfortable. The theme parks are close enough and we also enjoyed local restaurants, cafes, shops and bush walks.

Check-in was easy. Everything was exactly as described.The kitchen was more than adequate for our needs.As we had 4 kids of various ages staying, being able to make breakfast, dinners & snacks was great. The place was clean with added bonus touches. Beds were very comfy.Red Gum provided a great base to come back and relax after a day of activities. Would stay again.

Paradise

This lovely property was everything we had hoped for and there was everything we needed. It has a lovely wide verandah overlooking beautiful trees with the sight and sound of birds, a big barbecue which we used every evening and comfortable chairs around a large table. The beds were very comfortable. We had a great time. Thank you to our wonderful hosts.

Delightfully cosy, comfortable and peaceful stay!

Clean, cosy, comfortable and very well set up / organised home. In amongst the native bush, swinging in the outside hanging chair, hearing the birds and nature - heavenly and so relaxing.
