A tranquil and serene escape designed to help you make the most of its beach front location with large, comfortably appointed terraces for the best in indoor/ outdoor living. Playa Langosta offers some of the most beautiful sunsets in Costa Rica. After long, lazy days on the beach, a day of sailing, snorkeling or sightseeing; fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean in this luxurious home. No expense has been spared to ensure you enjoy your stay!

The condo includes a chef-style kitchen w/ all appliances, dishwasher, washer/dryer, granite counters, tile floors, tile bathrooms, combination safe. 4 flat-screen TVs, cable, streaming services, wireless internet, and air conditioning.

Modern design, top quality furnishings. Gated, guarded, convenient parking and Beach side swimming pool. 1 block to internat`l restaurants, grocery store, 10 min. walk to heart of Tamarindo w/ 50 restaurants.

Walk for miles along clean (Blue Flag Certified) beautiful Langosta beach. Easy arrangements for escorted river tours to see monkeys & other tropical wildlife, hikes to volcanoes, waterfalls, horseback rides, mud baths, zip lines.

Spectacular views of ocean and beach (private and quieter location than ground floor units). Balconies are positioned to maximize views of beach and sunsets.

1 hour on good roads from international airport in Liberia, w/ car rental agencies or rent a golf cart for quick trips around town.

Please note that Horizontes Del Mar does not have an elevator. Guests must be able to negotiate stairs.

Sparkling clean, beautiful apartment. We appreciated thoughtful touches like having bath amenities, extra paper towels, and laundry soap. The apartment is as beautiful as pictured and hosts are helpful and accommodating. Access was secure but easy and communication perfect.

Peaceful, relaxing property with sensational views of the ocean

Location is perfect and condo is spacious with all the bells and whistles. Basically a private beach away from the hustle and bustle of the main public beach. Pool was nice to have after the beach. Sunsets were easy to see from property and balcony. Would definitely stay here again! Concierge service was responsive. Can get to downtown main area in 5 mins with car or golf cart. Can also walk but might be hot!

Amazing stay in Tamarindo

Right next to the beach in the beautiful and quiet neighborhood of Langosta. But don’t let the tranquility fool you. It is a short walk to the action and if you choose to walk down the black sands and volcanic rock beach it is also a gorgeous one.

Perfection

Unit is pristine, location is perfect. Everything you need in the stocked kitchen and plenty of space. The beach is steps away and beautiful (rocky - not a swim/surf beach). We loved being so close to Tamarindo but still in a quiet area. You can walk to several very good restaurants and a little convenience store within minutes. Downtown is walkable, but a golf cart is also fun and convenient. We will be back.

Excellent location! Huge condo

My husband and I stayed at this condo for 3 nights after leaving from a work trip in Playa Conchal. The unit is a few steps up from the parking lot, a flight of stairs above the pool. The complex has some owned occupied units and some rentals. I think there are 20 total. It’s a very spacious unit with high ceilings, a wonderful deck, beautiful views, a comfortable bed and well stocked. The photos only show the master bedroom and bath. The other bedroom has 2 twin beds and a full bathroom. Neighbors are friendly. Since the weather was very warm and humid at this time of year, if you want to go into Tamarindo (about a 20 min HOT walk) I would HIGHLY recommend renting a golf cart. We used Pacifico, a young family owned business, very flexible with fast communication. The pool is fantastic and the beach is beautiful at low tide. Take a walk south at low tide and you can easily cross Rio San Francisco then walk forever alone on the beach. We would stay here again.

Great stay...beautiful location

Our family very much enjoyed our stay. We were moved to a 3 bedroom two story unit with terrific views of the ocean. From my understanding all the units appear similiarily nicely appointed. The place was modern and recently renovated and in excellent condition. The grounds included a very nice pool.All our interactions with Pavel and Jonathan were timely and helpful and made our stay an easy one. It is a really nice area of Tamarindo to be, with interesting rocky and sanding beach and short walk to both the main Tamarindo beach and the undeveloped stretch of natural undeveloped state park.The only minor thing we encountered was some low water pressure issues in the unit but by no means did it affect our enjoyment.Would highly recommend!

Perfect Langosta stay!

Beautiful condo, very clean, beds are comfy, has everything that you need. Lovely to sit on the patio and listen to the roar of the ocean. Steps to the beach, appreciated being in Langosta where it is much quieter, but it’s only a short drive or Uber (or a 1/2 hour stroll) to Tamarindo, and there are a few nice restaurants close by. Pool is very nice and well maintained. Security guards were very friendly and concierge was responsive. It was perfect for our family of 4, would definitely stay again if we go back!

Perfection!

We had a wonderful stay in Playa Langosta thanks to this gem of a condo. The location is close enough to Tamarindo to walk, but far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise of the “downtown” area. The condo was amazingly clean and has all the ameninites. The pool is great and the views from the porch were spectacular. Also there is a small turns essentially across the street which was very convenient for picking up things as needed and did not require a car or golf cart. We will be back!

Enjoyable Stay

We were two couples (60 year olds) and happy with our stay. Great location in Playa Langosta where a bit quieter than Tamarindo but still many restaurants in walking distance and a mini mart a block away. Quick trip to get into Tamarindo which is quite vibrant and fun. Condo clean and spacious and enjoyed the large patio. A bit sparse, nothing a few area rugs or pictures wouldn't satisfy. The owner and management co/ concierge were all very responsive and a real asset for advice as this was our first trip to Costa Rica. We had beach and pool to ourselves. The beach in front of condo is very rocky so not best if swimming in the ocean important to you. Bring water shoes. It was fine for us. We were only there 3 nights as this was the end of our active trip through La Fortuna and Rincon de la Vieja so we did not do any excursions and enjoyed some down time. Security guard on duty at all times and felt very comfortable in the area. We loved our first trip to Costa Rica. Pura Vida!!

Relaxing getaway with family

Overall, it was a great stay! I did not get the email with the check-in information until we were already at the vrbo- but fortunately the security guard was able to reach out to someone and get us into the condo- so we got in right away. After that, I reached out to the owner and he got me all the information and called me right away to provide me with everything that I needed. Once I got onto the wifi, the emails came through! The condo was much bigger than we expected and had everything that you would need to cook, would you want to- but there were so many restaurants that were easily accessible, as well as a little convenience store that had pretty much everything you would need. The pool was amazing- it was a great temperature and my kids would have preferred to spend all their time there!The owner provided beach chairs and a boogie board for the beach, which was great! We got a golf cart from the services that the concierge recommended and that worked out perfectly for going into town every day/night. Would highly recommend this condo and would return again! Thanks for everything.

Respite from long travel

Lovely place to rest and adjust after long travel and adjust to hot temperature. Close to anything you would want but far enough away to get away from it all. Lovely and spacious and well set up. Really great place for us.

Perfect Tamarindo Stay

This unit was absolutely perfect for our family of four. Beautiful home, perfect location right on the beach, had everything that we needed and more. Great communication with the host and on site staff. Highly recommend it!

Amazing Location

This place is in an ideal location and super safe. Jonathan took great care of us and even booked a Golf Cart for us (recommended). The locals were super cool and the rental was clean, restaurants close by and beach just steps away. I would definitely book this place again.

Updated condo- great location!

Great condo- totally updated; wonderful bathrooms and extra half bathroom. Location is perfect. Beautiful pristine beach out the back door and a 5 minute golf cart ride to tamarindo. Kitchen is fully stocked with supplies. The beach chairs were an amazing extra touch. Daniel and Jonathan are great concierges to help with plans and rides to airport. The owners are wonderfully nice people and were a big help with recommendations. Can’t recommend enough!

Perfection in Tamarindo!

Hard to sum up how absolutely perfect these accommodations were. From the moment we checked in, every box was checked. From the fully stocked kitchen, to the coziest of beds, to the pool and the proximity to the beach and to town. Thanks so much for making our first stay in Costa Rica a memorable one, we'll certainly be back!

Langosta Beach Paradise Experience!

This stay is my first of two bookings of this property; I was so thrilled with my experience at the condo I extended my stay for round two! I could not be more impressed with the hosts (Pavel & Olivia), the concierge (Jonathan) and the condo itself. No detail is missing in this 5 star renovated property: state of the art kitchen that is fully stocked with everything needed to create a chef quality meal (loved the induction stove!)! Plates/silverware for at least 12, high quality pots/pans, sharp knives, all accessories, etc. Full size dishwasher & refrigerator, plus the huge island bar counter exceeds expectations. The living/dining room is stunning: beautiful furniture and a statement piece of canvas art that belongs in a museum! The bedrooms are amazingly comfortable, and both have workspaces in case guests need to step out to conduct business. Both full baths are stocked with so many towels, and Jonathan the concierge checked in a few times to make sure I had enough for my stay. There are eight huge beach towels + beach chairs - which was a lovely surprise! The outdoor space is spectacular: very comfy teak furniture and so much space - enough to do yoga while watching the sunset! The pool is lovely, and the beach is just steps away. I will be back to THIS SPECIFIC PROPERTY as soon as I can!!! Please see my other review for more detail!

Outstanding!

The property was perfect! It was very clean and modern. The location was excellent and we felt very safe, we even walked at night to local restaurants. We loved the pool and the easy beach access. The property owner and manager were wonderful. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect!

This was the perfect place to relax and enjoy this beautiful country. The owners and every member of their team far exceeded alll of my hopes. They were gracious and caring, and the condo was beautiful. But the location really brought everything together. This is far enough away from the bustle of Tamarindo to relax and unwind and close to walk there when you are ready to have to fun. Highly recommend.
