"As this was a special occasion for us, we received an upgrade and the room had a wonderful view. The hotel and its rooms has a very nice, elegant design. The room had a luxury feel with nice furniture and large bathroom including a bathtub with a view over the city. Nice! Communication and correspondence before the visit excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. We struggled a bit with getting the right temperature from the AC. Breakfast adequate for a few days stay. A bit limited in choices. Staff...

"Spotless room' great view. Staff were really kind and helpful. Pools were great, our 11 year old really enjoyed the slides. Food was delicious, and breakfast was mind-blowing, such a selection. Overall we were really pleased with our visit and would definitely stay again. "

"We loved our stay at Areca, we had a room on the ground floor and it was sheer luxury, spacious, beautiful tiles on the floor, high ceiling, lovely period furniture, fans and air conditioner and a shower that was truly magnificent.
