"Stop your Daintree hotel search, just book DWL - you won't regret it! It is a lovely boutique, micro-resort perfectly situated in the Daintree. Cabins/rooms are a stunning oasis. Serene and relaxing (though the critters can be loud at night). There are only eight cabins in total, so the property is always quiet, with very little human traffic roaming about. Staff are fantastic. Sasha seems to run a one-man show with support from a few others in the background. He offered many suggestions...

"Staff were excellent everywhere. Friendly, helpful, attentive. Croissants / coffee outside Harrisons great if in a hurry or not wanting big breakfast. Resort still the best in Port Douglas. "

"Fantastic three nights here. The treehouse setting was magical the room was spotless, spacious and overlooked the serene lagoon. The staff were wonderful, helping us arrange excursions with ease, the spa and massages were absolutely lovely, and both times we dined the food was delicious with great cocktails and drinks. Overall a fab experience and would highly recommend!"

"I didn’t realise how central it is to everything - the beach, yoga, shops, cafes, restaurants, mariner. I felt safe, loved the room and the gorgeous wildlife that I could see everyday and night from my balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool and shared BBQ area was perfectly positioned for sun and shade. Whilst in the pool area, I met lovely elderly folk, young families and 20-something party goers! It’s a place to stay for all ages. I’m so so pleased I chose Mantra In The...

"We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....
