The host was excellent and the communication was fantastic. We were grateful for the early check in. The location of the accommodation was also excellent with a wide range of shopping and restaurants close by, with easy access to the Sydney Metro. The structure and layout of the apartment was great as was the balcony and views.However, the furniture and cleanliness within the apartment were sub-standard and the worse I have ever had. The beds were uncomfortable with the pillows well past there use by date. None of our party of six adults had a good night sleep. The bed in Bedroom 2 needs to be replaced in full, and the two single beds in Bedroom 1 both need new mattresses (lumpy). The bed in the master bedroom is rock hard. All pillows were terrible.The couch in the lounge room was also terrible, sinking in and causing back ache. It needs to be replaced. As for cleanliness: - the shower in the ensuite clogged up so I removed the grate and removed a large clump of hair. It was disgusting and had clearly accumulated over many months. - the air-conditioner grates were extremely dirty - there were small shards of glass on the kitchen floor which we cleaned- under the couch hadn't been vacuumed in a while, with chips and other small debri still evident.In addition but less of an issue, there were broken towel rails and fittings in both bathrooms.Until these issues are addressed I could not recommend this apartment. It needs some serious TLC.
