Positioned upon absolute escarpment-front land, Mt Solitary House captures the entire view of the Blue Mountain’s renowned Mount Solitary, offers a modern, elegant interior, and just 10 minutes away from major attractions. For the perfect holiday, Mt Solitary House delivers elite scenery, comfort and location.

Mt Solitary House offers unbeatable location. Just 3 minutes from Katoomba town centre and Leura Village, and 10 minutes of the Three Sisters, Scenic World and numerous lookouts, waterfalls and bushwalks, Mt Solitary House gives unparalleled access to the Blue Mountain’s favourite attractions and adventures.

Mt Solitary House offers a simplistic, yet modern design. An entry foyer spills into an open-plan living and dining area with direct views over Mount Solitary through generous valley-facing windows. A newly renovated kitchen extends the living area, equipped with all essentials, including gas stove, coffee machine, toaster, oven, and of course, mountain views.

No one will miss a great night’s sleep with Mt Solitary House’s five bedrooms, each fitted with fresh bed linen and towels before every booking. Two master bedrooms offer a King and Queen bed, respectively, each with ensuites. Two additional bedrooms each with Queen beds, a fifth bunk-bed room, and a linen-fitted portable floor mattress (available upon request for groups of 11 or for a $40 linen fee for groups less than 11, at least 8 days before check in) allows a maximum of 11 guests to enjoy the premises. We also cater for families with infants, with a cot (fitted with linen) present in one of the Queen bedrooms. For guests without ensuites, a central feature bathroom is available, with large open shower and free-standing bath.

A spacious, covered deck (with charcoal grill) offers all-weather outdoor entertaining, with unobstructed views of Mount Solitary and surrounding valley-land. A second vantage platform sits near the escarpment edge, for closer views and deeper immersion in the fresh Blue Mountain air.

The property exceeded my expectations, the photos were lovely, but it was larger and more modern than I imagined. The house is well appointed with lots of cookware etc, we didnt need to bring anything - I'd definitely stay again!

Beautiful views, very clean house

When we arrived this house was spotlessly clean. All bedding smelled clean and fresh, towels were soft and fluffy. Beautiful views from the back of the house, very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. A very enjoyable stay.

A great house for a big family

Mt Solitary House is as advertised. It is large, well equipped, warm, and comfortable. The view of Mt Solitary is extraordinary. The street is very quiet, no traffic. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Comfortable Stay

The property is well situated with lovely valley views. The kitchen was well appointed but we all thought the cupboards needed door handles as the current system is very annoying. Check in was easy and communication with host accurate and efficient. We would suggest making it more obvious that the fifth bedroom is a bunk room. This was not made clear enough in the icons describing the sleep configuration

Perfect place for an 80th Birthday.

Property has quality equipment and fittings with good bedrooms, very good air conditioning and excellent roomy bathrooms. Many hours can be spent sitting on back deck gazing at the beautiful views of Mt Solitary.

Great weekend with great views!

Wonderful girls weekend away. The views were beautiful and so many lovely walks nearby. The house HD everything we needed and more - really nice rooms and well thought out kitchen and living. We will be back.
